Provide a more complete episode description and include program content links after the description as is done on other podcast apps.

Keep rearranged Playlist after refresh/download
When I discover a new podcast, I often like to listen to all the older episodes, but without putting my current playlist on an extended hold for a long binge. So I scatter the old episodes among my playlist. But I can only do a few at a time, because Every Time new episodes download, the whole playlist resets in "oldest to newest" order, placing all inserted episodes right at the top. Would it be possible to keep any "user-reordered" episodes where they were placed?
3 votesThe app behaves according to the playlist sorting mode. If you changed the default manual sorting then everytime content is added to the playlist the app sorts it again to match the sorting mdoe you selected

Individual setting for sort of episodes per podcast
I would like to be able to set sort settings individually per podcast. So for one podcast sort with koldest first, another newest first. Right now, sort is global as I see it.
3 votesYou can enable Custm Sorting in Settings/Display/Podcast to do so. Then every screen will have its own sorting mode

Edit description or attach note to episode
I use PA for learning languages. With some episodes, I need a transcript, that is provided by the author. It would be nice if I could read it without having to swap to another app
1 voteYou can add bookmarks to any episode. This allows you to write notes at some specific positions in the file. If you don't care about the position you can just write some comments/text at the position 00:00

Stop and close the player
It would be great if we had an option Within the three dot drop down menu in the top right of the player to have an option to stop and close the player all together. It would prevent anything from being played accidentally And separately from the sleep timer, it would be a convenience to not start an episode that we wouldn't want to begin until later.
1 voteYou can stop the player by pressing on the player notification 'x' button or by long pressing on the player screen play/pause button

Sound quality and effects
May we please have the option to modify sound quality and effects for individual podcasts. It appears that once it is set, it goes across the board through every subscription the same way. It would be nice to have it more individualized. I do listen to a few music only podcasts and it would be nice to have Rock and music equalizer set for those & voice set for the majority of the rest. Thank you for your consideration.
1 voteyou can set the default behavior of the app in its settings, however audio effects are saved by podcast when you change them from the player screen. That way every audio effect including playabck speed can be customized per podcast

Show the entire titles of the episodes in vertical screen.
The titles are all incomplete when phone is vertical. It would be easier to make a decision to download if the entire titles were displayed.

Tesla App With Online Progress Syncing
This is in some ways a 2 part request:
1. Online backup and progress syncing (and stats tracking) in the cloud.
2. True Tesla app using the new Tesla API so I can listen on my phone or in my car with the same type of syncing iOS users get with Apple Podcasts for Tesla.3 votesSorry but there's no plan to implement this. I don't have the time and resources to do this

Update episode RSS directly from playlist
Many podcast are added to playlist with a temporary tile/description but are updated later through RSS (I mostly experience this with Radio France podcasts).
I can update it through that podcast's list of episodes, but could it be possible to avoid this and update that episode from the playlist context menu ?

2 votesMalheureusement je ne peux rien faire si la personne en charge des podcasts ne respecte pas le standard RSS. Une fois un contenu publie dans un flux RSS il ne doit plus etre modifie. Si malgre tout un podcasteur modifie ce contenu alors la seule solution est de laisser appye sur l'episode et de forcer sa mise a jour depuis le flux RSS

Comment laisser l interface podcast addict sur l'écran de veille ?

J utilise très souvent cette appli le problème c est que quand on veut mettre l appli en route, il faut enlever l écran de veille, et ouvrir l appli..
Peut o n laisser l appli en permanence sur l écran de veille ?je veux dire ,avec l'écran noir on appuie sur
la touche latéral et hop on aurait le lecteur qui s affiche et on pourrait redémarrer ou on en était arrêté..
J'ai tout essayé mais je vois pas comment ..1 voteL anotification de lecture est la pour cela. Elle permet de controler et reprendre la lecture sans debloquer l'appareil. Les commandes casques permettent egalement la meme chose

Allow an automation app to trigger downloads
Podcast Addict already exposes several app actions, e.g. "Playlist", "Latest ep.", which can be triggered by automation apps like Samsung's "Modes and Routines". Can we please have an action to trigger the automatic downloads?
This would avoid having to disable app optimisations, and would give us more control over when/where downloads happen. It's the one feature I miss from a previous podcast app.
If it could be done without opening the UI, so much the better.
2 votesAutomatic downloads are automatically triggered when new episodes are retrieved and there's already an intent to trigger the update so you can already do this

A filter to download episodes with a weekly schedule or keyword filter
I'm subscribed to a podcast that publishes episodes daily seven days a week but I'm only interested in the Saturday and Sunday ones. Would it be possible to set up a filter to only download these two episodes each week, or with a weekly schedule or keyword filter? For example, download only if it contains the word "Saturday".
3 votesYou can already set a filter to include/exclude episodes based on keywords. You can find this in the podcast custom settings. The upcoming version also includes a schedule that can be customized per podcast. You can then set the app to only download episodes automatically on specific days. The other episodes will still be available in the podcast page, but not downloaded. You can join the beta on the play store app page to test this right now

Crie uma função para salva trechos dos episódios.
Existem podcasts enormes, e às vezes um insight está numa pequena parte do episódio, seria interessante a gente poder selecionar os trechos que queremos ouvir depois, sem ter a necessidade de caçar dentro do episódio.

Show "category filter" on episode lists
Lists such as "New episodes", "Downloaded episodes", "All episodes" etc should have an option to show the Category Filter. This way we could use categories to browse episodes, not just to browse whole podcasts. Much more useful imo.
A number of similar ideas were marked by Xavier as "started" and then "completed" in 2022 and I'm not sure what's going on with that.

Playlist should have playback time
It would be RLY cool if the playback time was adjusted for the speed of playback, as we can set all our cast subscriptions to different speeds.

Make alarm stop after one episode
I use the alarm to listen to the latest news, however after playing the latest episode it starts streaming old episodes of the same podcast. It also blocks other alarms. Very irritating as it picks episodes from the middle of the covid madness.
1 voteThe alarm either resumes the current playlist or works the exact same way as if you had press play on a specific episode. Based on your settings it will start playing this podcast unplayed episodes list

Skip episodes with <name>.
Some podcast subscriptions push podcasts that are not of interest. I would like to set keywords that auto-delete episodes whose name includes that keyword.
