I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?
Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI think instead of having a maximum start, maybe a more useful feature would be if the volume is set higher than a threshold, then PA will ramp the volume up over a few seconds instead of play at full requested volume right away. Then in the cases where you are ok with the volume you don't have to do anything. And it won't puzzle users who didn't know, forgot, or don't understand a max start volume setting.

If you open PA from a widget instead of from the app icon you can specify which page you want to start at, and one of the pages is the car layout.
