customize order of refreshed episodes
It would be helpful if one could chose the new episodes to be in the order of when they got refreshed instead of the date of appearance. Because in the way it is now, you miss too many episodes that might have had errors during refreshing.

Allow users to sort podcast by latest, non-downloaded episode
Sort feeds by latest episode unless I've downloaded that episode. This would be extremely helpful as I'm choosing what episodes to download. If I've already downloaded the latest I'd prefer if that feed slid down the list

On Sony (AndroidTV) at some positions I can not see the focus and can not play a podcast.

allow radio to embed third party lyric addon
It would be nice to follow along lyrics as radio or even podcasts allow caption or lyrics to be played.

doubleclick Powerbutton pause unpause playing
By shorten doubleclick the Powerbutton the player stops/pause playing podcasts and vise versa starts playing when paused.
Very helpfull to quickly pause/play without "using" the phone.
I knew thart feature from the App Podtrapper which was mainly developed for BlackBerry but also had an version for Android. But I like youre App more ;-)

Downloaded Episodes swipe
The widget to open the app into downloaded episodes menu is great. But in navigating the app a swipe from the right, up, or down to get to the dowloaded episodes menu from any screen (such as swipe from left to bring up sliding menu) would be very convenient. Obviously swipe from right would disable some existing features, but up or down may be viable options. I autodownload episodes and i want immediate access to them from anywhere at anytime as what im here to do is listen to content first and foremost. Thanks for the good work.

Individual Overrides per podcast
It would be useful to be able to for example override the Download Limit, or New/Older First, without affecting other settings, such as Automatic Download.
This way, if certain global defaults are changed after per podcast overrides, those defaults will propagate to all podcasts that don't have an explicit override set for that option. As it is, overrides only seem available categorically (eg all Download settings).

Different add to playlist positions for automatic and manual
I want to automatic additions to be before the episode i am currently listening to so it doesn't accidentally start playing. But if i manually add an episode i want the opposite! Or if i am going on a journey it is really annoying to have to move the episodes into the right order !

Cut Segments from Audio for Saving of Podcast Tidbits
The bookmark feature is great to get you to a spot to remember, but it would be even cooler if you could cut a portion of audio for downloading of and playback later. This way large episodes can be deleted and the smaller audios can be saved for later studying/listening.

Better option to adjust for display size.
4k displays make it difficult if not impossible to read some text on the screen. Even when the settings on the device, none in app, are set to the maximum.
This would greatly help those with visual impairment and IMHO make the app easier to use for all users.2 votes -

Add the ability to personalize the automatic tweet send at the end of episodes, in order to properly mention the podcast creator.

Move notification player control buttons to left
I like the player controls on the notification bar on the lock screen. However, I find the buttons hard to reach when using the phone one handed while walking the dog, driving, exercising. It would be a lot easier if the buttons were on the left side and the podcast picture on the right.
I'm sure there are people who use their phones one-handed with their right hand. Perhaps this can be configurable.
Also, the buttons are a bit small and tightly packed, which makes it a bit hard to press the rewind button rather than play/pause.

Double tap to continue playing
A double tap screen implemented in the same way the shake device works would add a more convinient way since it's easier in some situations like the phone sitting on the table.

Add automatic cleanup option of 12 hours
For daily news type podcasts, being able to delete them at 12 hours (0.5 days) makes sure listeners won't have to listen to yesterday's news.

When an episodes ends in a playlist
I would like to have the option to play a beep or a sound, or even more appreciated to have the option to have a voice that speaks the title of the podcast and of the episode

option to turn off "reading inn progress"
I sometimes turn off podcasts before they finish. they then go to the "reading in progress" and automatically start playing when another podcast ends. Also, trying to remove podcasts from the "reading in progress" folder often winds up deleting the podcast, when all I want to do is keep it (and any other) from automatically playing.
