Cross device synchronization
Would be great to be able to synchronize subscriptions, playlist, read status, ... between devices
5,314 votesJust a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in

I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?
Thanks

Multiple playlists
I would like to be able to create multiple regular playlists, where I select which episodes are added to each playlist and not add all episodes of a podcast like in the "custom" category. Also, it should be possible to remove the "video" playlist as I don't have a need for this, and I assume most people who listen to podcasts (while driving etc) also don't.
However, most importantly, I would like to be able to create multiple playlists (like one for listen to now, listen to when I have time, etc) where I am individually adding episodes, not complete…
694 votesEDIT: a 1st beta will be available by the end of the day.
FYI the Custom playlists will soon be improved.
Filters will be available so the selected category can only show episodes based on their download status, played status, stared status, publication date, …
I get it that some of you want multiple playlists were episodes can be manually added, but there’s no plan to implement this for now.
However, according to the feedback I got by email, it looks like those filters will solve limitations of the current solution for most users.
Feel free to send me some feedback by email if you have ideas for other filters that can be implemented (Settings/Feedback/Email)

Strongly consider syncing across devices. I use several different devices and most other apps already provide this feature. Im very disappoi
Complete the syncing across devices feature. Very disappointed to see how long ago this was requested with no apparent interest in providing this function.

Use dynamic compression to support listening in loud environments
If you are listening to podcasts in a loud environment (e.g. in traffic) you often need to turn up the volume to understand the quiet parts. But then the loud parts hurt your ears. And in podcasts it is especially important to be able to hear the quiet parts clearly. So a dynamic range compression would be IMHO very helpful.
The idea is here, that loud parts of the podcast are left as they are, but quiet parts of the podcast are amplified.
I appreciated that very much in http://www.rockbox.org/ until I started using my phone for podcasts. (The Rockbox…

Port Podcast Addict to a Windows Universal App
I have the Android version of Podcast Addict and I love it! Please port it to Windows as a Universal App so I can run it on all my Windows 10 PCs / Tablets / Phones / Surfaces / Xboxes / IoTs / SurfaceHubs / HoloLenses / Servers (ok, not servers...maybe?). If you need help, there are probably lots of resources to help you. Thank you!

Unless they come back with an alternate solution there shouldn’t be a Windows port any time soon.
Sorry about that

Android Wear Support
I would love to see a few basic Android Wear features to accompany the application. It would be great to be able to :
-Browse Podcasts
-Play Podcasts (Start/Pause/Stop/Rewind/etc) (Technically this does work to some extent)
-Refresh Podcasts
-Basic Voice Controls to search for a specific podcast/channel

Stream podcasts to Windows PC
I would like to see an option to be able to playback my podcasts on a Windows PC. The use case happens literally every day for me and is probably what will ultimately lead me to use a different solution than podcast addict when it becomes available:
Making dinner, I want to listen to podcasts on my home speakers system, which is fed by my Windows PC. Currently, I use Itunes to play podcasts on my PC, which means that afterwards I have to manually delete the episodes on my phone, since there is no way for podcast addict to…

Mark individual episodes as read/deleted with right/left swipe.
Right now it takes too much taping, menu walking to delete individual eposodes. Imagine you have 50 episodes and you need to keep 4? With swipe it is fast and easy.

Clean up the UI.
I love your app, but it does need a bit of a UI overhaul.
1 Remove unessicary clutter and put more relevant info in the front. Put the catigories selector into the side bar. The "hide read podcast" button probably won't be used very often to justify putting it were it is and cluttering the display. The refresh button is redundant because you already can swipe down to refresh, which is more intuitive. Put a search button into the top bar. A back button to go to the main page from individual podcast pages would be nice though. I saw…

Add more stats to silence skip
I really like the feature so far. Very cool to see it's saved me 20 minutes over 2 days of use. I would really like to have a detailed statistics screen for the silence skip feature. This would hopefully include a breakdown by podcast, then by episode. In addition reset counter/ delete data button for the total counter+all data and a separate one for each podcast.
Thanks for reading. Take care.

allow me to swipe away episodes I don't want to listen to.
On the latest episode list, I would like to be able to swipe left or right to delete that episode as I don't intend to listen to it. It can be a little bit annoying to have to scroll through a bunch of episodes I don't want to listen to over andover again.

Download By Sort Order
Could you add an option under Automatic Download to download episodes by the sort order of that particular podcast, instead of just the newest episode (default), or the oldest (if that option is selected).
This would help me a lot because I tend to sort different podcasts differently, for example news podcasts I sort by the newest publication date whereas chronological podcasts(such as history podcasts) I sort by oldest publication, and it would be helpful if they were downloaded that way automatically.
Both of those options are already covered by the app, however, every now and then I sort a podcast…250 votes
