  1. Be able to add a folder playlist from local

    I have some audio files that are in local folders and it would be able to add an entire folder from my phone

    You can press on the main screen + button and then select Virtual Podcast, to create a new podcast from a local folder. Then every file you add to this folder will be displayed as a new episode in the app. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

  2. Users mark ads

    Create button that allows users to mark beginning and end of ad during podcast. Users opt-in to sharing this info with other users. Users can then opt to allow playback to automatically fast-forward through ads (as marked and shared by other users). Kind of like Waze allowing users to share locations of hazards, speed traps, etc. As every user's mark would be slightly different, would need to just average the input.

  4. Share RSS URL

    Add function to the Podcast menu that would share the URL for the RSS feed. Currently it is necessary to open the setting dialog then select "Edit podcast url" and copy the URL to be pasted into email to twitter.

  5. Player notification should remain visible in Do Not Disturb

    This seems to be how the other media apps I use work, and what the user would expect. I don't remember if PA used to work like this but I just noticed it recently. (Android 10, Pixel 3a).

  6. Make bookmarks searchable

    For ex, say you want to study a particular subject you've identified by keywords in your bookmarks, like "wayfair gate" and would like to create a Playlist based on your bookmark search results. Either That or a way to customize multiple playlists which I don't possible currently.

    Please make sure to add the 'Bookmarks' entry to your navigation sidebar in Settings/Navigation Sidebar, then you can open that screen and use the search button in the toolbar to find a bookemark

  7. Give us back the download and start button on the tile in the podcast overview

    In older versions I Just tapped onto these buttons . OK they are small but now I need at least one additional Mode to Download and start a episode.

  8. Icon Grid independently from screen resolution

    When the energie save mode on a android smartphone change the screen resolution, the icon grid (podcast channels) change to an another size in the programm. Can you fix it?

  10. FYI: I think someone is stealing your app to drive traffic to their other website instead

    Just an FYI, if you did not put up this website below, then you should contact Google and ask them to shut it down for illegally using your app to drive traffic to their own website.

    But if you yourself put up this free google free website, then obviously don't worry about this...

  11. Share at current location

    I'd like to be able to share a podcast with the link to the current listening position. It may be a long podcast with lots of topics covered. I'd like to share at a particular point so the receiver can immediately reference the point you were thinking deeply about.

  12. Bring back direct file sending

    I use to be able to download a podcast episode and send the file directly someone else via the send button. But now it only allows me to send a link of to the episode. Was that feature moved and in simply missing it? If not, then it would be great to bring that feature back.

    As explained in the Changelog, the default Sharing behavior has been modified a couple of versions ago. You can go into Settings/Share to customize it.

  13. Make it easier to locate downloaded files as source of Virtual Podcast.

    I've been through this before, when I've switched phones. But today, I am stuck and cannot figure it out. When I add a podcast and select Virtual, the folder location I want shows immediately, but the OK button is greyed out. Also, I do not see the MP3 files I know are in this folder. How do I do this? THanks

    The app allows you to browse the device storage folder, however you cannot select the app default storage as the source of a virtual podcast as every podcast downloaded episode would be displayed in your virtual podcast. Feel free to contact me if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

  14. Fix custom playlist

    I discovered this morning that a "Custom Playlist" had been created in the app. When I went to play as usual, it started playing from this list instead of the "Audio" playlist that I have always used.
    I have never used a "Custom Playlist", and do not have "Continuous Playback" enabled, which has been said to be the cause.
    When I tried to remedy the problem by removing everything from this playlist, it removed them from my Audio playlist as well, and marked them all as played.
    This is incredibly frustrating, and I have no idea why it happened or…

    Sorry but there’s nothing to fix here.
    The Custom playlist will play the content of the selected Category/Podcast.
    If you want to switch back to the Audio playlist, open the audio tab and select the episode you want to listen to

  17. Allow set playback order for podcast

    For my default I choose play newest episode first.
    However some podcast are episodic and for those I want to override playing order with oldest first. Like global speed vs podcast speed.

  19. filter podcasts by length for automatic download

    It would be nice to have the option in automatic downloads to filter some podcast with a specific length time.
    For example, no automatic download if length is more/less than X minutes.

    Some podcasts rss are publishing full episodes (like 60 minutes long) and then on the same feed some podcast extracts (5mn each).
    In this case, I would like to download and hear only the long podcast and not the short extracts I already heard during the main one.
    For that, I would choose a filter "do not download if length less than 10mn".
