  1. Add a one click radio streaming shortcut in Podcast Addict

    In "Podcast Addict Shortcut", we already have a shortcut to Live stream, can we have individual icons to directly launch a stream, taking the picture of the radio too ?

  2. Add volume boost to video podcast

    Please consider adding volume boost to video podcasts and also increasing the boosting level available for audio podcasts. This is really important due to bother the varying published audio levels of the casts as well as the varying playback devices, both local and Bluetooth that we use for listening.

  3. Display position in chapter

    When I display the chapter marks in the player, the durations of the chapters are shown, but not the current position, so it cannot be be seen how long this chapter still takes.

  5. a feature to let the user choose to activate the timer by default

    It would be useful for people who listen to their podcasts at night and always fall asleep during the listening (excuse my english...)

  6. make the maximum speed greater than 3x

    Some podcasts have really slow talkers and I like to maximize the amount of information I get from my podcadt listening time. I've found that the brain can comprehend words much faster than any human can normally talk. If the max was bumped up to around 5 times that'd be great!

  7. Color scheme

    A brighter/lighter theme would be nice. The ability to chose a color for the theme (or have the theme adjust based on podcast artwork) would be great, but is probably difficult/time intensive.

  8. Add a button to manually trigger the cleanup process

    The cleanup process triggers only when a new download of the specified podcast is started. It would be nice to have a button or a menu option to trigger the cleanup for all / one podcast/s manually.

  9. Highlight the podcast currently played

    Hi it would be nice to display the podcast currently played in a different colour .
    I know it can be spotted with the pause symbol but it is not obvious at all.

  11. Have a setting to store and keep the latest amount of user defined amount of podcast per subscription.

    Example. If you set to just store 3 podcast episodes per subscription, then each time a new episode is downloaded then the oldest one will be deleted.

    This feature has been delivered in the latest version of Podcast Addict (v1.23)

    Long press on a podcast (main screen) and select ‘Custom Settings’ from the menu. From there you will be able to override the ‘Automatic Cleanup’ settings

  12. Allow per podcast options

    Enable the user to specify settings for each podcast that override the global settings like
    - use external player
    - playback speed
    - auto download
    - ...

  13. Add 'mark read to here' feature

    It would be useful to be able to mark a podcast episode as read and all the ones before it at the same time.

    This will be added in the next version.
    The settings will only be available in the screen showing episodes of a specific podcast. Long press on an episode and select ‘mark older episodes as read’. Older episodes will be flagged as read, but the current one won’t

    v2.17.4 is currently rolling out

  14. The ability to automatically disable screen lock when we're in "Car Layout".

    It would be great to be able to prevent phone from locking screen once Car Layout is selected.

    In the last version (v2.28) you can enable Settings/Player/Keep screen ON
    Then the app will keep the screen ON while the player screen is displayed. Be careful to turn the screen OFF manually to to close that screen if you want the screen turned of after a while

  15. allow podcast image to be shown/not shown at the lock screen.

    The new update shows the podcast image on the whole lock screen. It blinds my widgets, please allow an option to not show image.

  16. More sorting options for downloaded shows.

    I recently changed from Podkicker Pro to PA. I did this because I wanted the virtual podcast folder, which is great.

    On thing that I miss horribly is the option to sort downloaded episodes by Podcast Title, episode date.

    By doing this it was easy to add multiple shows from the same podcast to the playlist.

  17. Multiple custom playlists

    I would love to create multiple playlists in which podcast subscriptions could be added or removed.

    By weary of example, my BBC, NPR, and ABC news casts would go into one called say news, and the longer science podcasts under day science docs.

    It is similar to this post but that is on 2013 and is incorrectly marked solved.

    Podcast Addict v3.42 has just been released.
    This new version finally adds support to multiple playlists.

    In order to use this new feature, you can go into the Playlists screen and select the new ‘Custom’ tab.
    Then you can select the category of your choice and listen to it.
    Those default categories are provided by the podcast owner in their RSS feeds, but you can press on the toolbar ‘Category’ button and add/delete/customize them.
    That way you can create playlists like News, Commute, Workout, Audiobooks, SFW, …
    Each playlist can have its own sorting mode.

    Add time saved (or lost:) by listening at increased/decreased playback speed to global statistics screen.

  19. Podcast order

    I REALLY wish there was the option to be able to put podcast you are subscribed to in the order you want them to be. like you can in a Pocket Casts. as ridiculous as it might sound that's the reason why I have only switch to podcast for a couple subscriptions

  20. Fade-out ramp for sleep timer

    There should be a gentle (maybe customizable) fade-out ramp to silence when the sleep timer reaches the end.
