Ability to sort virtual folder by files date and time
The current sort by publication date does not work for virtual folders making it difficult to add to at list in chronological order based on the files date and time stamp.
Would be useful to either add this option (by file date stamp) or alter the behaviour of sort by publication date to use files date stamp in virtual folders.

I suggest you to add an automatic delete of the miniature, because they are super heavy for an old phone
You could add an automatic deleting of the pictures/miniatures of the podcast when you exit or enter in the app, because they use too much space in the phone!!

1 voteUnused artwork files are already deleted automatically as soon as they are not needed anymore. If you want to limit the number of artwork files you can disable episodes custom artwork files in settings/automatic cleanup

Shuffle played/unplayed episodes
For some podcasts, it doesn't matter what order you listen to them in, but it's fun to turn it on and be surprised. Other times, it's fun to relisten to podcast episodes in no particular order.

Podcast header with accent background
hello, it would be nice if you could change the background of the podcast header. At the moment it's black, any color or an accent from the cover picture would be nice

Please go into Settings/Display/Podcasts and enable custom sorting. After that every podcast can have its own sorting mode

No played stamp if sleep timer on.
Do not (or make it an option not to) mark podcasts as played, or remove them from the playlist, once the sleep timer is activated.
I like to fall asleep to my shows, but I still want to actually listen to them during the day.1 votePlease check the sleep timer settings when ‘stop at the end of the episode’ is selected. The app already allows you to keep the current episode

Lock screen options
please add more options and functionality to lock screen. For example the option, that function buttons cover half or all of lock screen instead of only a small part at the top.

1 voteIt looks like you’re using the device’s built-in media player lock screen widget. Please disable it from the device Settings, then instead you will see the app player notification to control the playback from the lock screen

Add timer setting to downloaded episodes
I miss this feature because the player auto advances to other downloaded episodes. They are downloaded because they are important. Importance doesn't mean they are right for my mood.
Moving from my funniest downloaded series to my saddest downloaded series happens all the time.
With the timer feature, I would put stop at end of chapter on and then manually select which download to play next. (The automatic playlist is a muddle of work and play, happy and sad, long and short episodes.)
1 voteThe app plays episodes based on the content of your playlist. You can customize the playlist content any way you want to or for example, select the podcast or category you want to listen to.
You can already use the app sleep timer to stop playback at the end of the current episode -
Have an option to delete without marking played
I far too frequently find myself accidentally downloading the wrong episode, but I still want to listen to it eventually. It'd be nice not to have to go into the podcast, show all, and then mark the deleted episode unplayed afterwards. A simple option to delete without marking as read would go a long way

J utilise poddecast addict tous les jours et j ai insérer un dossier de mes musiques dans le dossier de téléchargement pour les écouter via votre application car je trouve le rendu sonore bien meilleur
Serait il de parfaire votre application en incluant un lecteur de musique
Merci1 votel’App te permet déjà d’écouter n’importe quel contenu. En revanche l’App reste un lecteur de podcast avant tout et n’est pas forcément optimisée pour la musique. N’hésites pas à me contacter si tu as des questions

Add a setting to limit downloads based on time
I don't want episodes downloaded if they are under 5 minutes or over 2 hours, like I hate when an episode downloads and it's the teaser for the premium version smh
1 votePlease go into the podcast custom settings and use the filters for this. If the podcast rSS feed provides the episode duration you can have the app skip episodes based on this

Play just the audio of a video, not the image
There are audio and video podcasts. I would like to play video files as they were just audio files.

Not a suggestion, request for help
I've tried to get the contents of a folder on my internal storage to populate the play list (I'm assuming this is the best/only method of listening to my local storage content with Podcast Addict. I used "+" (Add) and selected "Import", navigated to my folder of content and Here I'm Stuck! The ONLY clickable item is "CANCEL". How am I supposed to Import my local podcast content into Podcast Addict's Play List???

Rewind button on screen saver mode
I would love a rewind button similar to the forward button when the app is on the screen saver mode. If I ever miss something and need to rewind, it's a pain to unlock the phone and go into the app. We have a fast forward button, but no rewind in that mode.
