  1. List and search bookmarks

    Currently you can only access the bookmarks inside its chapter. So I have to remember what chapter was bookmarked.
    It would be great if there's a list of bookmarks (and/or search box) feature.

  2. show size of episodes and total used storage space

    Before downloading episodes, it would be nice to see how much storage space they'll use. It would also be nice to see how much space is used by each downloaded episode, as well as the total, so you can make decisions about deleting things if your device is getting full.

  3. allow podcasts to be automatically marked read after a certain percentage has been listened to

    There are a few podcasts I cut short as I don't listen to the ending portions of them.

    It would be nice to have a setting where they can be automatically marked read after you've listened to 90% or more, with the percentage required being variable.

    Or possibly if there's under a certain amount of time left in them. Thanks!

    I will add a new setting to allow skipping episodes outro.
    This will be a podcast custom setting.
    You will have to select the number of seconds to skip at the end of the podcast. Once this threshold is reached the app will consider that the episode has been fully listened to so depending on your settings it will be marked as read, deleted, removes from the playlist and the resume position will be reset.

    This will be release in v3.4

  4. Allow "Force Download" while on mobile data.

    I'm unable to download an episode of my choosing on mobile data unless I enable all episode downloads over mobile,and risk forgetting and having it chew through my data.

    Until I implement a ‘real’ download manager, the next version will allow you to long press on an episode in the ‘Download manager screen’ and select ‘Force download’. This will allow to download THIS episode while bypassing the app network settings. This flag will reset when the app gets killed or the if the device is rebooted. If you don’t enable this in for the first episode in the download queue, then it won’t do anything until the 1st episode is downloaded.

    This will be implemented in the next version (v3.3)

  5. Fix the time position recording bug on MTK65xx processors

    I had a Wiko Cink Slim and now I own an Acer Liquid E2. On both devices the player is not able to restart a reading on the correct timemark after pausing for a period of time. It seems that this bug is specific to MTK65xx devices.
    It would be great to find a way to bypass this bug on a software basis in order to not depend on hardware anymore

    I might have found a workaround for this issue thanks to a user that helped me do a LOT of testing.

    For those having this issue the workaround will have to be enabled from Settings/Player/Resume Playback Workaround

    Edit: delivered in v2.4

  6. Add playback speed in custom settings

    It would be nice if the playback speed for each podcast could be found in the custom settings of the podcast. This would not only let me know what speed I have that podcast set at but would save a couple of clicks in adjusting the speed (depending on the screen I am starting at).

  7. Please fix: crash at startup - KitKat 4.4.4 ART

    After the most recent update (2.17.2) I am unable to even start the app. Since the option to uninstall the update is not available, I am podcast-less until there's a fix

    Sorry about this issue. The 2.17.2 version file has been corrupted during the upload and the app couldn’t be started anymore.
    Last version on the play store fixes this.
    Sorry about that mess…

  8. Add Play/Pause/Skip ahead/back/Next to the notifications area

    Right now I can only pause playback from the Notifications field. I would love to be able to also resume playback from it. And during playback, be quickly able to skip ahead without having to open the app.

    This feature has been delivered in version 2.2
    The player notification can be expanded to display more controls as well as a button to close the player

    Make sure you didn’t enabled ‘Settings/Player/Hide notification on Pause’ to be able to use this notification even when the player is paused

  9. Create a method for listeners to review podcasts.

    I would love to be able to review the podcasts I listen to for others.

  12. Preview before subscribing

    When you search for new podcasts, you can't preview anything about them. You can only see the title, logo, and first line of the description. Tapping on it immediately subscribes you. Provide a way to preview podcasts (description, available episode list, etc.) before subscribing.

    This feature has just been released in v3.16
    From the search results press on the podcast (or long press), the select ‘Episodes’, you will then have the list of the podcast episodes, from which you can stream/download without having to subscribe first

    BTW: I forgot to add this feature in the Discover podcasts screen, but it will be done later this week

  13. Auto Backup the subscriptions list (OPML) to Dropbox or Google Drive

    I accidently format my phone and I lost all my subscriptions, because the (OPML) was on the phone also, so it would be grate to have auto backup feature integrated with google drive or dropbox to automate this task every month or every time I added new channel.

    Edit: Delivered in v3.22.

    The future version will allow you to enable an automatic backup of the subscriptions (OPML file) every time the subscriptions are updated.
    If you select a backup folder synced with Drive or Dropbox, you should get your files in the cloud automatically.

  14. Pause download

    Facility to pause a single download or immediately pause all downloads (to free up bandwidth or avoid losing progress of a partial download when the phone is going to lose data connectivity.

  16. option to re-download podcasts already in playlist if they are deleted or corrupted.

    Either add a button to the long press menu in the playlist to re-download items or automatically check items in playlist have been downloaded an if they are missing re-download items when next on wifi.

    Currently if downloading to SD card and it is removed, corrupted or the files move there I no way to listen to them other than streaming.

    I will add the following in the next version:

    - an icon to display the downloaded status of every episode in the playlist
    - a contextual menu to download an episode
    - a menu to download every undownloaded episodes of the playlist

  17. add a download progress bar with time remaining

    Currently when queuing up a number of podcasts for download there is no way to see an estimated time remaining or download progress bar. This would help to know if there's 1 min remaining or 20 based on current download speeds

    The download progress is now displayed on every screen displaying the episode currently downloading. The download speed is displayed in the download notification.

    I will consider featured completed. Please let me know if I need to reopen it.

  18. Option for manual deletion to NOT mark episodes as read.

    Simply, sometimes I delete an episode, and I don't want it marked as read. I would like option to delete the episode but keep it as unread.

  19. Be able to organize the podcasts home by number of episodes unread

    So, I would like to enter the main screen and organize podcasts by number of unread episodes, instead of just newest or alphabetically. This would help me a great deal, with the podcast with the most episodes unread appearing first at the main screen
