    Is it possible to insert a music title recognition, or something to permit Shazam or SoundHound to listen the podcast ?

  5. Introduce some kind of persistent profile where, when you register, your listened-to shows carry over when you get a new phone.

    Just got a new phone and hard to remember which of the hundreds of shows I've already gone through... Takes part of the episode to remember it's been heard, wastes time.

    Duplicated entry. Please vote for existing feature requests before creating a new one.

    BTW there’s a built-in backup/restore feature which allows you to retrieve all your data on a new device really easily (Settings/Backup)

    Which part of the app do you find confusing?
    You don’t have to be familiar with podcasts to use the app.
    To add a podcast you need to press on the main screen + button.
    Then you can browse popuplar podcasts or use the search engine to subscribe to new content.
    Then the app main screen will show you the podcasts you subscribed to. Press on a podcast to see its episodes. Press on an episode to see its description and play/download it.

  8. Simplify player screens

    I find it difficult to explain this because I don't quite understand the problem I'm having. I've been using this app for many months and I love it but I'm confused by the player screens, and also by the screens for viewing info about a podcast when I'm not listening to it. There are at least three different views, they don't have names or hints, but if I keep touching the screen I might see controls, or episode description (useful), or might accidentally connect to the podcast's own website.     I’m sorry but I don’t understand the feature requests you’re asking.
    Pressing on the app back button will always return to the previous screen until you reached the opening screen. After that pressing back will exit the app.
    The player screen just contains the basics controls (play/pause, skip, change episode), a button to access the chapters or create bookmarks and then a way to swipe to display the playlist, the artwork or the current episode description.

  12. Create a way to not continue playing on to the next downloaded podcast after one is complete.

    It would be nice if the podcast would stop playing instead of going to the next episode.

  14. I suggest you beef up your getting started guide, it is badly lacking.

    Provide a flow chart with screen shots of the app and explain how they interact. And arrow/label the icons so a beginner understands how to get to "settings", and, make it clear that the home screen settings are not to be found in the settings on other screens. That way a user can follow your text instructions. This seems like a pretty good app. But your instructions and video are for shit. I donate to good apps, but if I can't understand how they work, I just move on to another. And don't leave any improvements to the guide sitting…

    You will find the Settings menu in the main screen menu or at the bottom of the navigation side bar.

  17. Automatically filter out popular private podcast distributors like Patreon feeds from the search database without clicking the private tab.

    I'm not sure if this is done already or not but it seems like common sense to protect those content providers. I already see quite a few feeds that say in the descriptions that they should be private by searching for Patreon in the app.

    There are no private feeds available uin the app database to my knownledge.
    Official patreon feeds are not inserted in the app database.
    Please send me an email in case you see some private feed so I canb check them (Settings/Feedback)

    When you delete an episode it’s marked as read. If you’re hidding read content, then you won’t be able to see the episode. You can then press on the toolbar ‘eye’ button to see every episode and mark it as unread if you want to
