I don't understand why this hasn't been a feature from the beginning. I want to manually order my playlist while in the playlist. I want to long press an episode and drag it where I want.3 votes
Just make sure to select the manual sorting mode, then use the handle on the left side of the screen to reorder the episodes
N’hésites pas à me contacter si tu as des questions
I far too frequently find myself accidentally downloading the wrong episode, but I still want to listen to it eventually. It'd be nice not to have to go into the podcast, show all, and then mark the deleted episode unplayed afterwards. A simple option to delete without marking as read would go a long way1 vote
Pls go into settings/download to change this behavior
Would like to know how much space each podcast is using locally so I know what to clean up sooner.
Have 40GB used by podcast addict "data" in storage manager which doesn't help.3 votes
You can see this information from the podcast description screen. Then you can swipe left/right to switch to the previous/next podcast description
Move the slider or download button so when i download episodes that's really old, i dont accidentally click on the slide and shoot up the episode list and have to keep scrolling back down again and again3 votes
It looks like there might be some issue with your device implementation of the Fast scroll hit zone. As a workaround please disable the fast scroll in Settings/Display to fix this
I miss this feature because the player auto advances to other downloaded episodes. They are downloaded because they are important. Importance doesn't mean they are right for my mood.
Moving from my funniest downloaded series to my saddest downloaded series happens all the time.
With the timer feature, I would put stop at end of chapter on and then manually select which download to play next. (The automatic playlist is a muddle of work and play, happy and sad, long and short episodes.)1 vote
The app plays episodes based on the content of your playlist. You can customize the playlist content any way you want to or for example, select the podcast or category you want to listen to.
You can already use the app sleep timer to stop playback at the end of the current episode
The chromecast destination has to be selected each time the cast is started. I mostly use the same device for playback, so an option to auto-connect to the last used device would be a great help, especially when using a widget to start playback.3 votes
Everything related to the Chromecast is handled by the Google Play Services via their Chromecast button
Sorry but this button cannot be displayed on a widget and once disconnected from the Chromecast you will have to open the app and connect again
Do not (or make it an option not to) mark podcasts as played, or remove them from the playlist, once the sleep timer is activated.
I like to fall asleep to my shows, but I still want to actually listen to them during the day.1 vote
Please check the sleep timer settings when ‘stop at the end of the episode’ is selected. The app already allows you to keep the current episode
Merci de bien vouloir voter pour la demande existante. Les demandes les plus populaires sont développées en priorité
I have my playlist sorted the way I like it (priority>name>publication date) but I would also like to be able to manually drag-and-drop individual podcasts to set up a playing order. Sometimes my daily morning podcasts are released in a different order than usual and I would like to be able to listen to them in whatever I order I choose (without having to manually select it after each podcast is done).3 votes
Sorry but you cannot have both an automatic and manual sorting. This can only one or the other
The app works fine on GMS devices, could you adapt to HMS devices? Thanks.1 vote
The app already exists on the Huawei store. Please install it from the official Huawei store and it will work fine
I'm using the app on Huawei P40, I installed GMS by myself, but the app failed to launch.1 vote
Podcast Addict is available on the Huawei store. Please install the app from the store. Thanks
Ads are always significantly louder than the podcasts, requiring constant adjustment. It would be nice if we could have a setting to adjust the ad volumes. They need to be about 50% of their current volume, so that they're not physically painful. I'd rather they be too quiet than painful.3 votes
Please contact the podcast authors for this as they are the one providing the content and the ads. There’s nothing I can do on the app side
When an episode is purged (at the server end) from an RSS feed, it is not removed unless the feed is completely reset, which is very inconvenient. Even if the server sends an HTTP 410 response (Content Gone) to a download request, the app tries to download it still (and instantly says it timed out). A 205 response (Reset and Retry) just loops several times before failing. If set to only download one episode at a time, this causes the feed to stop entirely, stuck on the now non-existent episode. I have verified that RSS Sync is enabled; new episodes appear fine, so it's certainly being read okay.

I think it'd be very user friendly to have a play next button, so that when the episode you're listening to its finished, it automatically goes to that specific episode.
I get that I could create a playlist, however, I normally don't really know what I want to listen to next when I start a podcast, but while listening I'm often sparked by something and want to click on a specific episode to listen to next. It'd work like the play next button when watching YouTube on chromecast.3 votes
Please take a look at the FAQs for more information about the playlist/Continuous playback mode (Settings/FAQs)
Every episode has a ‘add to playlist’ button. This means that this episode will play after the current one ends when playing from the audio playlist
hello, it would be nice if you could change the background of the podcast header. At the moment it's black, any color or an accent from the cover picture would be nice1 vote
Please send me an email so I can gather more information about the issue and then help you.
The app shows a blurred version of the podcast artwork in the header so I don’t understand the issue you’re experiencing
For some podcasts, it doesn't matter what order you listen to them in, but it's fun to turn it on and be surprised. Other times, it's fun to relisten to podcast episodes in no particular order.1 vote
You can add the shuffle mode control in Settings/player then you can toggle this behavior from the player screen any time you want to
I suggest you to add an automatic delete of the miniature, because they are super heavy for an old phone
You could add an automatic deleting of the pictures/miniatures of the podcast when you exit or enter in the app, because they use too much space in the phone!!
Unused artwork files are already deleted automatically as soon as they are not needed anymore. If you want to limit the number of artwork files you can disable episodes custom artwork files in settings/automatic cleanup
The current sort by publication date does not work for virtual folders making it difficult to add to at list in chronological order based on the files date and time stamp.
Would be useful to either add this option (by file date stamp) or alter the behaviour of sort by publication date to use files date stamp in virtual folders.
Thanks. Great app 👍1 vote
Virtual podcasts have an extra sorting mode compared to other podcasts which allows you to sort the episodes based on the file date. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)
Ma suggestion est de pouvoir paramétrer, dans un podcast, le temps à partir duquel chaque épisode commencerait.1 vote
Tu peux deja faire cela via le parametres “Sauter l’intro” disponible dans les parametres personalises du podcast
