  2. Recherche par catégorie

    Proposer une liste de catégories: humour, insolite, zap, politique, sport. En cliquant sur l'une des catégories, cela afficherait des podcast correspondants. Un grand merci à l'auteur de nous permettre de faire évoluer son application.

  3. Allow per podcast options

    Enable the user to specify settings for each podcast that override the global settings like
    - use external player
    - playback speed
    - auto download
    - ...

  4. Keep the title at full width while playing a playlist

    This is just a cosmetic change. Currently a pause button on the right decreases the available width for the title.

    Placing that button next to the progress bar, that is: only a little bit lower, would solve this. And it would both look better and show more of the most relevant title: the one now playing.

    the app can suscribe to youtube feeds and can be download videos or only audio.

    to be able to refresh automatically the three latest podcasts for ex (by default too much podcasts are downloaded.)

    This feature has been delivered in the latest version of Podcast Addict (v1.23)

    You can select the number of downloaded episodes to keep in Settings/Automatic Download.
    You can also override this settings for each podcast. To do so, long press on a podcast (main screen) and select ‘Custom Settings’ from the menu.

  8. A feature to automatically enque new episodes to the playlist, even if not downloaded (stream only)

    I stream all podcasts instead of downloading to save space. I'd like to be able to have the option for each podcast title to automatically enque new episodes to the playlist as they are released.

    I would like a menu option that allows you to set a default filter when opening the app. perhaps the playlist filter set to newest first.

    This feature is available in the latest version of the App on the Play Store.
    On Android 2.x you can add a shortcut to your homescreen that can open the app on the Playlist or the Player.
    On Android 3.x and 4.x you will be able to do the same using the new Shortcut Widgets

  11. Logo refresh

    For me addiction to podcast is not related to syringe. Syringe together with word "addiction" is totally negative symbol for me and is related with huge problems for some people. I really appreciate if you just consider about possibility to change the logo.

    Nobody wants to sit on the needle. It's not fun.
    Podcast addiction is fun.

  13. save the default playlist order - so it doesn't have to be selected each time

    Currently you can select the playlist order, but each time you download more podcasts you have reselect "sort by XXXXXXXXXXX" (or resort manually).

    It'd be better if a chosen "sort by XXXXXXXXXXX" could be a default that is automatically applied each time new podcasts are downloaded.

    Currently you can not modify the font size. My screen is small and the default font is quite small

  15. Add support for Google Chromecast

    It would be awesome if Podcast Addict had support for playing content through Google's new Chromecast device. Google Cast API can be found at the link below:

  17. have info on how to use the podcast.... all the little symbols throw me a little. .. but other than that its good so far....

  18. Mark podcast as listened when is 95% done

    When a podcast is done, I skip to the next in queue. I dont want to listen to the entire outro.

    As it is now, this leaves a bunch of 99% listened podcasts in my playlist, which is annoying.

    I will add a new setting to allow skipping episodes outro.
    This will be a podcast custom setting.
    You will have to select the number of seconds to skip at the end of the podcast. Once this threshold is reached the app will consider that the episode has been fully listened to so depending on your settings it will be marked as read, deleted, removes from the playlist and the resume position will be reset.

    This will be release in v3.4

    Edit: Available in the latest beta.

    Avoir le possibilité d'écouter des podcasts vidéos avec le téléphone en veille : ne pas couper le son d'un podcast vidéo lorsque l'on éteind l'écran pour remettre le téléphone dans sa poche (écoute au casque dans le métro par exemple)

    Podcast Addict v2.3 est en cours de publication.

    Une nouvelle option est dispo afin de ne pas stopper la lecture d’une video lorsque l’écran est éteint.
    Ca n’est pas le comportement par défaut, mais il est possible de le modifier dans “Paramètres/Player/Ecran éteint”

  20. Audio Bookmarks in the player

    I suggest you add audio bookmark feature in the player.
    I like to re-listen 2 or 3 times the same part of a radio podcast and at the moment I have to use another android player do audio-bookmarking.
    It would be great if I could have all integrating in one app.

    EDIT: I just published a first beta which adds basic support for bookmarks.
    You can access bookmark from the player and episode screen.
    Long press on the bookmark button to quickly create a new bookmark
