BUG : when making a research (for new podcast)
when making a research (for new podcast) it shows me a Toast "1 résultat", but nothing is shown in the list (example with : "tales of the world")

among the thousands feeds you may gather, it´s pretty difficult to get to a specific episode going one by one in the filter "all"

reduce dely between pushing play button and starting playback
There is often a long delay after I hit play. I usually end up hitting the button multiple times to get it to start.

Regarding your problem it looks like you are streaming content. Because if that playback can only start once the buffering is done which can take some time depending on your connection speed. When playing a downloaded file, playback will start immediately. -
add a progress bar for downloads.
A progress bar come in handy with a slow connection. WiFi and 4G are so fast it's a moot point, but it's be nice for slow 2 and 3G connections.

Please use the Contact Support button to open a ticket in case of an issue. This current section is to suggest new features.
As I mentionned on the Play store, thre have been no modification that can impact the battery. The app only uses wakelock when downloading or playing. Every wakelock is released once used. -

I don’t understand what you mean. The refresh button has always been available in the podcasts screen. Moreover you can refresh the feeds from every screen using the refresh button in the sliding menu

Effacement d'un épisode d'un podcast
Un clic long sur un épisode à l'intérieur d'un podcast permet d'utiliser le menu "Effacer l'épisode".
Or, lorsque je clique dessus, il ne disparaît pas de la liste mais n'est plus disponible offline si j'ai bien compris.
Pour le faire disparaître de la liste, il faut réinitialiser le podcast : cet épisode étant ancien, il n'est plus dans le podcast.
En conclusion, je n'utilise plus le menu "Raffrachir les épisodes" car je ne peux pas enlever les anciens épisodes...3 votesNon il ne faut pas réinitialiser le podcast !
Si tu souhaites masquer un épisode, tu le marques ‘lus’ puis tu masques les épisodes lus à l’aide du bouton de la toolbar. -
Option to import mp3 files (old podcasts from previously used podcast app)
Some podcast providers delete their old podcasts after certain days (public radio stations in Germany after few weeks)
As some of my favorite podcast episodes are no longer available but I do have them downloaded with my previous podcast app (podkicker) that allows me to export them as mp3 files, I would love to integrate them into podcast addict.
Could be even expanded to import my audiobooks and make my audiobook player obsolete.
One app for my audios would be a dream!Keep up the good work!
3 votesYou can already do this. Press the + button and add a virtual podcast. Select the folder that contains the mp3 files and it’s content will be displayed like a new podcast

Show process bar in look screen
It would be fantastic view the progress bar in the lock screen controls.
3 votesThe lock screen widget is a default android component. I cannot change it’s look and add features. Starting with android 4.4 Google added a progress bar that can be displayed if you long press on a button. If you’re on android 4.4 you can try it (feature already implemented in the app)

provide an export facility to export all the comments of all the podcasts to a text file
provide an export facility to export all the comments of all the podcasts to a text file so that one will have a seperate record of what a specific podcast was all about for later search, lookup or reference. It seems like the comments are lost if one copies the mp3 files to another place (when you run out of memory)

integrate with simple last.FM scribbler.
I don't like my podcasts being scrobbled on last.fm, but this appears to occur when usibg the simple last.fm app. If you support integration with the simple last.FM app, users can turn off scrobbling. Dev support can be found here: https://code.google.com/p/a-simple-lastfm-scrobbler/wiki/Developers
3 votesThere’s absolutly no integration/link beween Podcast Addict and last FM.Please take a look at the FAQ

Podcast Addict player is based on default Android API and Last.fm has a setting enabled by default that scobbles information about every app based on those API.If you uncheck “Scrobble Android player” in the Last.fm app settings, then it will only scrobble radio plays."

Allow "Move to SD card" android functionality
It would be ideal if I could move the app onto my SD card, because that's where I download the podcasts to. However the "Move to SD card" button is disabled for Podcast Addict.

add the feature to provide a username and password for protected content
I still need a second podcastclient for the Podcasts of my newspaper which are password protected. It would be great to add a possibility to download also protected content! Thanks for the otherwise great podcastclient!

Pause playback when other apps speak (e.g. Navigation cues)
I use this app in the car a lot. Whenever my navigation program (igo or Tomtom) speaks I miss a sentence of the podcast. Would be great if it paused just as sticker does.

changing to landscape mode on the playlist
Changing to landscape mode on the playlist when playing pauses music. Seems to be a bug. This occurs when using Bluetooth headphones, and I have an app called Ultimate rotation which forces rotation on some apps
