  2. Show URL Preview when Long Pressing Hyperlinks

    Currently when long pressing hyperlinks in episode descriptions a menu with the two options [Copy to clipboard] and [Share] opens.

    I suggest the addition of the link's URL (or at least its beginning) to the header of that menu. Similar behavior when long pressing links can be found in the Chrome browser.

    This feature would increase usability and security. When you currently want to check a link's destination before opening it, you have to copy it, go to your browser and insert it there. With the addition of the URL to the menu you could do a simple long press,…

    Let it be possible to create a membership that can be accessed from applications for both web and mobile devices. Membership via Google Drive is not useful.

  4. Virtuelle Podcast kennzeichnen und eigene Regeln einstellen.

    Ich verwende gerne das Feature virtueller Podcast. Mir ist aufgefallen, das generelle Einstellungen auch für virtuelle Podcasts gelten. Es wäre gut, wenn man virtuelle Podcast kennzeichnen könnte mit einem kleinen icon. Außerdem wäre eine Einstellung gut, wo man z.b für virtuelle Podcasts andere Einstellungen zum Löschen von gehörten Episoden einstellen könnte. Z.b gelesene Episoden von virtuellen Podcasts nicht zu löschen.

  5. Android Automotive Sync

    Looking to buy a new car with Android Automotive. Obviously this doesn't use android auto so doesn't pull podcasts from the phone.
    Ideally need a sync function to make sure podcasts, playlists and progress is the same across multiple devices.

  6. Separate sorts per category/show.

    Recent episodes I always want sorted new to old, but old podcasts that I want to listen through always need to be sorted the reverse to get them to play through. Can we get sort to only affect the category it's selected in?

  7. Bulk categorize podcasts

    I currently have 470 podcasts total. 150 of those are categorized automatically as fiction as I subscribe to them over time. I would like to move them to a category I created called "New" where I keep the podcasts I haven't started listening to yet. It would be nice to be able to bulk categorize those 150 without going through a list of all 470, or individually customizing the settings to change the category on all 150.

  8. Add secondary sorting to the podcast list

    Secondary sorting on playlists works amazingly. Please extend this to the sort functionality already built into the main podcast list. I would love to be able to have the podcast tiles sorted "By priority, and then by publication date to break ties".

  10. Pause between episodes duration(time)

    The highest time setting is 10 seconds. Please add 2-3 more options such as 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minute.
    I am using it for studying.It helps to think or revise the episode in a minute or two and 10 seconds is very small time to do that

  12. Improve labels and color contrast

    I constantly misunderstand "1m" and "2m" on the episode list screen, to mean "one minute" or "2 minutes". Please consider using "mo" for month. Also, the duration time is so low of contrast, that I rarely notice it easily, and sometimes cannot see it in well lit or outdoor environments. This would be an easy thing to address. Please consider working on your accessibility practices in general, but a once over of the app for color contrast issues would be pretty straightforward.

  13. Navigation Sidebar - option to rearrange item order

    tl;dr
    Allow items in the Navigation Sidebar (the main menu that has New Episodes, Playback History, Bookmarks, etc) to be arranged manually.

    Detail:
    There's an option to enable/disable Sidebar items (Settings > Navigation Sidebar), but I would like to further rearrange those in an order that works best for me.
    Personally, I find myself looking for things such as bookmarks near the top and historicals (like playback history) near the bottom.

    One solution could be to include handles for rearranging items next to the toggle checkboxes on the same options screen. It feels like the next logical step.

  14. Allow custom mobile network settings for each podcast

    Some podcasts I only want to download via wifi, some I want to download on mobile. Please enable this feature, right now I can only change mobile download settings globally. Thank you!

  16. Have a backup Skip Outro setting

    I really appreciate the Skip Outro only if fast-forward pressed option fast was added in 2020.17. But, there are occasions when I can't fast-forward and a podcast has a long but variable outro length.

    For example, I want to have it always skip the last 90 seconds, but should also skip to the next episode if I fast-forward any time in the last 3 minutes.

  17. Delete at sync

    It would be nice if there was an option to allow podcast deletions to only occur at the "Automatic refresh" scheduled time.

    I want to enable both "delete when marked as played manually" and "delete once fully listened to", but I don't like that they happen immediately upon those events.

    An episode may accidentally get marked completed, or I may want to go back and listen to or reference something again after finishing.

    Having that grace period between those setting events and the next sync prevents the need to stream or download it again.

    I could see many people wanting…

  18. Podcast addict can play when do not disturb is turned on

    Currently when do not disturb is turned on podcast addict is not able to play. Android allows exceptions for apps that you manually choose. It will be helpful if podcast addict could play when do not disturb is turned on.

    Note field somewhere at podcast description
    The reason I was looking for one, was because I wanted to write which podcasts I donated to (it's nice to keep track of it in the app which I use to listen to them 😁)
