Retry failed downloads on podcast refresh
It would be great to have an option to automatically redownload all episodes wich failed to download for some reason(SD card was full for example). It could start download from the oldest unlisted episode.

Manually downloaded episodes should be marked as unread
If a read episode is manually downloaded then it doesn't get marked as unread so I have to do this as well. It would be easier if it did this automatically.

Have the video player become a floating window similar to G player for android
floating video windows are drag and drop movable and drag to resize window and sometimes have other gestures for next previous vol up and down etc and of course always on top of other running apps

Additional volume boost
Riding on motorways on my bike even with volume maxed out it is hard to hear so an additional boost say 25% for biking or in extremely noisy places.

Set a delay for downloading to sd card
Am downloading to my sd card. When my phone is switched on it takes a few minutes for my sd card to be mounted to my phone. Until this is done my sd card can't be used. Before it has time to do this Podcast Addict is trying to download new podcast. Can you please add a delay to the downloading. Thanks :)

Make setup and navigation of the site easier.
I quickly fell in love with this App, however I still find myself going back and tweaking things. I'm new to the Podcast World & had to learn a lot. Some of which I didn't even know what the setup section was telling me. Just a little more user friendly. I find myself going in circles sometimes because its not set up cut and dry.This App. Is the greatest but has the potential to be so much better. If my Mother wanted to use it She would never make it through the Set up process. Thank You

Support Alipay for donation
Pleas take a look at Alipay, an alternative Chinese payment system for paypal. It would be more convinient for Chinese users to make a donation using Alipay.

Add an option that allows allows immediate download of specified number of episodes
So there is the great option of automatic episode download, however the first time I subscribe for a podcast, these auto download rules do not take effect.
I can't understand what would trigger the auto download rule and end up manually downloading episodes, which defeats the point.
Would be great to have the option to just click "download 3 episodes of each of my podcasts" and be done.

Add a watchlist function.
I think a useful addition for large collections would be a watchlist to track movies you have added but not watched yet.

Change the 'buy a new app to donate' idea.
It might deter people from donating to buy a new app. The might think they could lose their settings and get all their subscriptions and history wiped.
It would be better to upgrade the existing app to remove ads.

Fix incorrect selection during list updates
Sometimes when I delete/select/change an episode while a refresh is in progress, the wrong episode gets selected.
This happens when I long press an item to bring up it's menu, and then an additional podcast gets added. Selecting one of the items from the menu triggers the selected action on the previous item in the list. (Maybe the index is being used instead of the object id as the argument?)4 votes -

En mi caso tengo un podcast personalizado, solo se distribuye por descarga directa. Cuando coloco los archivos en su carpeta, al actualizar los episodios todos aparecen con el mismo nombre. su nombre original aparece de esta manera: (nombre de podcast) - (fecha de podcast). En la aplicacion solo me aparece de esta forma: (nombre de podcast) y nada mas, me cuesta trabajo identificar a que fecha corresponde cada uno porque todos se llaman igual. Tal vez tenga que ver con los tags del archivo y es algo que puedo arreglar de manera personal, pero es mas comodo…

Slightly change the sort order behaviour, with Publication Date (Old>New)
Currently, the main screen sorts podcasts based on the newest episode, which makes sense when the sort order is New>Old. However, when I sort Old>New, I would prefer it to be based on the oldest unread episode. Currently, the podcast with the oldest unread episode will drop down the list when a newer episode of that podcast is released. Hope that's clear. This is probably the best app on my phone BTW!

Current podcast time in description viewer
I mostly listen to house mixes podcasts. Usually the DJ adds the tracklist and time in the mix in the description. I'd like to see the current time of the podcast in the bottom player instead of the total time, when I look at the description.

Include played streamed episodes in the trash
If I accidentally have the podcast play without wearing the headphones, I lose track of the episodes that streamed without my knowledge.

Keep only one Episode (latest) e.g. for daily newsflash
Keep only one Episode (latest) e.g. for daily newsflash and purge all others so that the podcast contains always only the latest episode, not more.
