  1. Set a start offset (hh:mm:ss) for a podcast episode

    Some of us listen to a specific section of each podcast episode. The section is indicated in the episode text by hh:mm:ss.
    iPod has this feature (start offset set on the podcast episode through iTunes).

  2. View Podcasts From Directory Structure Instead of File Name

    It would be great to view podcasts based on the directory the podcasts are in. This would avoid confusion of having a podcast with an episode name that is different from the name of the podcast itself. Ideally, podcasts could be viewed like files are viewed on Windows. Playlists could be created from a directory or individual podcasts played from within a directory.

  3. More Filter/Playlist Options...

    I use Stitcher at the moment, but really like where you're going with this app. In Stitcher, the main setup is a playlist, and it plays the latest episode of each podcast in your editted order. If you've listened to the latest episode, it marks episode as listened to, and it doesn't skip to the next episode - it just skips to the next podcast. This would be extremely helpful as in the car, it is difficult to set up playlists. If you can't do something like this, perhaps limit the Latest Episode filter to one episode to each podcast?

  4. Podcast Addict sur GoogleTV compatible (Sony NSZ-GS7)

    L'application peut elle être compatible avec le boîtier Sony NSZ-GS7 GoogleTV. Intéressant pour les podcasts vidéos sur une TV dont ceux de la Chaîne Techno que je suis en particulier ?

  5. clear filename of the episode mp3 file.

    For those interested to use the mp3 file, I suggest to name the file of the episode as the title of the RSS file. ( <item> <title> <title> ) and not to use the end of the url to name the file.

    Next version will allow you to customize default file names using predefined patterns. A 1st beta will soon be availble. Make sure to join the Beta on the Play Store app page to test this and provide some feedback.

    This will of course apply to new downloaded episodes only.

    You will have to go to Settings/Download and press on 'Use Custom filenames' to change the default behavior

  8. Shake (or use a custom hardware button) to start/stop playing

    I would like to start/stop playing without powering up phone when I'm outside.

  9. Edit google play description

    You should note how well Podcast Addict receives XML feed URL's from Chrome to Phone allowing one to easily subscribe to new podcasts from their computer. This has been working really well for me since I frequently encounter new podcasts while on my laptop.

  15. Display the total time of all podcast playback times in the playlist screen.

    Currently you can only see the total playlist time by pressing a button. It displays quickly and disappears.

    Display the total playback time continuously when looking at the playlist screen.

  16. If multiple playlists are never going to happen, then how about a selectable tag system for individual episodes?

    The Categories filter only applies to whole podcast feeds, but many of those have hundreds of episodes and lots of people like to pick and choose, and group them for different listening situations. Multiple custom playlists is the most obvious solution, with hundreds of votes here, but it doesn't seem that's happening.

    So what about the option to create tags that can be applied to and used to filter individual episodes? Those can be added to the custom playlist or played from whichever list they're filtered in. It would be more work, but also potentially more flexible than multiple playlists,…

  17. add Transcript enable/disable toggle in the Audio Effects menu on the Player screen.

    The transcript displays over the show art. An easily reachable toggle would allow you to enable/disable it quickly when it is obscuring details or a transcript is not required for the specific podcast.

  18. Podcast Specific "Add to Playlist Position"

    Currently, it's set up to be universal. All downloaded episodes go in the front, or the end, or after the current episodes. But I have some podcasts that I want added to the end of the playlist, and some I want added at the beginning, and some I want to be added after my current episode. Being able to make those decisions per podcast as opposed to a universal rule.

  20. sort the podcast list according to addition date

    a function that I miss is sorting the podcasts according to the adding date, so that I know which is the podcast subscription that I recently added. That would help when I add a podcast by its RSS URI.
