use less battery after the sleep timer runs out
I fall asleep listening to podcasts, but when I wake up my phone is almost dead. According to the phone's battery history, power is used at the same rate before and after the sleep timer ends.

Once the player is stopped it doesn’t use any more battery. -

Tu as du désactiver les contrôles internes. Tu peux les réactiver dans paramètres/player

Chaîne YouTube en téléchargement avance pour éviter de les regarder sur l app youtube (surtout. Quand est chez free). Ce serait un vrai avantages par rapport a un abonnement sur YouTube.

Regarding your issue the error message will explain the root cause. Looks like you don’t have enough free space to download your episode. -
Fix the ongoing notification
When hitting play or pause in the ongoing notification on a Samsung GS4 i9500 the podcast addict app crashes.

Please add more information like the version of the app, the podcast feed url and episode name. Are you streaming episodes or playing a local file ? Did you send a report using the crash popup dialog ?

Merci d’ouvrir un ticket en cas de problème (bouton Contact support).
Si le podcast affiche ‘non initialisé’ il faut le mettre à jour (bouton refresh dans la barre d’outil). Si malgré cela le message persiste cela signifie que le flux utilisé n’est plus valide (désactivé par la radio). Il faut donc rechercher le nouveau flux et l’utiliser. Quel flux utilises tu ? -

En cas de problème avec l’app merci d’ouvrir un ticket en utilisant le bouton ‘Contact support’ sur ce site.
Pour info il est maintenant possible de trier la playlist de façon automatique (Menu/trier) -
add a search or browse option to the general settings
among the thousands feeds you may gather, it´s pretty difficult to get to a specific episode going one by one in the filter "all"

Please add a fast forward button to the widget and notification shade
This will make it much easier to use the app with headphones or bluetooth that don't have a built in fast forward button.

add a download&enqueue in one press
Want to be able to both download a podcast and enqueue it with one press

This feature is already in the app. Just press the clock icon in the player or playlist screen.

a bug
since last update as soon as a podcast starts playing its length is dropped to tens of seconds and i can rewind or forward within it.

I don’t understand what is the issue. Do you mean that you only have the beginning if the episode after downloading it? Please send me more information like the exact app version number, the podcast RSS feed and the episode name.

1 voteIn case you want to report an issue with the app please use the Contact support button.
This message tells that the feed has not yet been refreshed. Just press the update button on this feed. It will then display the feed episodes. If the feed isn’t valid or if the podcast server is down, you will have an error message and this message will still be displayed. which feed is it ?

Please fix podcast start up problem
Everytime I go start up the podcast that I was previously listening to, it jumps backs about a minute. If I pause while listening to the podcast and resume it also does the same thing. When I scroll to find a specific spot, sometimes it starts up 20mins back from where I want it to start. I'm not sure if this is an easy fix but I can't figure out the problem.
I love this app but this had been bugging me a lot recently.

Looks like you are using a device with a MK65xx CPU.
Those devices have a bug that make it impossible to resume playing using default Android APIs. Unless a specific workaround is developed for this CPU every existing app will have this bug. -
Variable speed playback broken with some podcasts
A recent update broke variable speed playback on a few of my podcasts (cheapass gamer's cagcast being one). If I change the playback speed at all, even 1.1x, it sounds like they are talking in slow motion. Not all my podcasts have this issue, and the ones that are broken had worked fine before that update.

Nothing was broke on variable playback speed. It just doesn’t support M4A files very well and because of some hardware/drivers bugs, some devices aren’t compatible (Samsung S4 for exemple).
Did you install the app on a different device or update you Android/Rom version ? -
Fix automatic refresh
I have my setting for every 12 hours, and when I open the app, but it seems like my phone is always refreshing my subscriptions

Did you enable Settings/Data Usage/ Update podcasts over Wifi only ?

bluetooth
Just received an update and unable to play through car via bluetooth whilst also running the navigation app M8. It used to but now it defaults to M8 via car speaker and podcast addict via phone speaker regardless of which one I start first. Has anyone else experienced this? And how was it resolved. Thanks

The app just play/pause some content and that’s it. If the device is connected to a BT device or a standard headset, then the sound will go through the connected device, but that’s it. The app doesn’t handle anything related to BT, so there’s no regression possible ;)
