  1. Jump to end or beginning when scrolling fast in lists

    Scrolling through long lists is tedious. Why not enlarge Scrollindicator to a button when scrolling fast that enables jumping to end or beginning of a list. Know this feature from other apps like Opera browser.

  2. Allow shortcuts

    Allow the option of users being able to create a shortcut to specific settings screens, especially the Equaliser.

  3. Add "popularity" data

    I miss that old feature on iTunes where you could see the popularity of each episode. The userbase of PA is probably big enough to incorporate it now.

    It's useful data for when you discover a podcast that interviews a different guest each episode but you don't know the names and there's 100+ episodes to sift through. I'd love to be able to either sort by popularity, or even be able to see that little visual representation next to the episode. It'd help pick the best episodes first.

    I'd use that feature all the time. I'd switch from free account…

  4. Larger "time", "time left" in car mode.

    Car mode has larger buttons for easier control, but to see how much time is left, you still have to focus on the screen instead of just glancing at it. The numbers are very, very small and could easily be enlarged a lot.

  5. Bookmark Export - include an URL for each bookmark

    Currently the file only contains the episode URL. It would be helpful to include an URL for each bookmark, so that when clicking it will start playing on the bookmark ("Position" field) instead of the beginning of the episode.

    It could be similar to what Youtube does by appending e.g. "t=137" parameter in the query string of the URL.

    That's a good idea. The app will provide 2 urls for every bookmark. A first url based on the episode url with a new parameter to pass the position, but depending on the source that might not work. The app will also pass Podcast Addict episode url with the playback position in which case it should always work fine

  6. Calculate replay gain on all downloads, and allow user to choose a standard volume for podcasts

    Calculate the replay gain when you download a podcast. Then allow users to choose whether or not to apply the replay gain and what level by decibel to use as the standard volume. Then the user would adjust the standard volume for his circumstances, rather than having to adjust it with each different podcast

  7. Allow podcast name on grid per podcast.

    Can you make Advanced > Display > Podcast > Podcast Name selectable on a per podcast basis? Some podcasts insist on no title, branding or anything but a host photo in their cover artwork. Unless I make my own custom cover art, which I've been known to do, and override the default, I'd love to be able to specify which podcasts display their titles on the grid, and which don't.

  8. Show playback statistics for more than just this year and last year

    I can see how much time I spent listening to each podcast for this year and last year. But it would also be nice to see this for previous years and also by month.

  9. Display not only date, but also time of podcast publication when displaying or playing podcast

    This is particularly relevant for recent podcasts, to know if it was published 5 minutes ago or 23 hours ago, as it only shows the date.

  10. Streaming and downolad while roaming

    hi, I often travel abroad. I have unlimited data at home, but not abroad. Would it be possible to add an option so that nothing is downloaded while roaming, even if I have data downloads set? Thanks

  11. Add a "random" download feature for podcasts that are non-serial in nature.

    Many podcasts are essentially random in nature, not tied to any time period or previous episodes. Examples include single joke podcasts and science fact podcasts. It might be nice to be able to add them to playlist in a random fashion.

  12. Download every nth episode

    Some podcasts upload two times a week (e.g. a long form and a short episode).

    I would love an option in the custom settings to only download every second (or other nth) episode.

    This would also be helpful with feeds that post many episodes a week (e.g. documentaries) but I don't want an overload of that particular podcast.

  13. Create a Display choice for New Episodes only

    Love the app. On the podcast home page the Display indicates 'Unplayed Counter' and it is not clear if there are new episodes in the feed. Please can you create a display option of 'New Episodes'? This is only thing I miss from the app i used to use.

  14. Gather episodes under lists, not playlists

    There are episodes that I stared to be able to redownload or relisten to. I have lots of them from many different podcasts.
    I'd like to create lists (not playlists) to gather them under a theme. For example, I'd like to gather all my stared episodes talking about "How to write a book" under a list, or all my stared episode about quantum physics under a list. Those lists would have a feature to download all episodes and add them to the playlists

  15. Real listening time

    I would like to see also a line displaying the real listening time I spent, it is the total time minus playback speed and all the skip silence, intro, outro. I can do it manually but it is not friendly

  16. Sort Playlist by Podcast Listened Date

    Allow sorting playlists by the time when a Podcast (show) was listened to.

    I'm subscribed to a lot of podcasts and I want to be able to identify which ones I haven't listened to recently so I can listen to them.

    For example:

    1. let's say I have Show A, and I listen to episode 10. That episode 10 is deleted and episode 11 is downloaded.

    2. I also have Show B, with episode 50 downloaded.

    3. When sorting by Podcast Listened Date (Reversed), episode 11 of Show A should go to the bottom.

    4. Notice I haven't listened episode 11. But the date…

  19. Add a selectable duration for the Alarm.

    Kind of like the inverse of a sleep timer, allow the user to choose how long the alarm will continue to sound, in minutes, before stopping.

    It could be added as a variable to the Keep Playing option, but I'd like to be able to choose have the alarm sound for a selected amount of time and then stop completely, or revert to the normal playback mode.

  20. Add an episode long-press option for "download next episode and queue after this"

    A pattern I very frequently encounter is being on the playlist and wanting to download the next episode of a show and insert it on the playlist immediately after the current episode. This requires me to remember what episode I'm on, go back to the podcast show list, open the show, scroll down to the new episode, download it, add it to the playlist, and then drag it up to where I want it. Instead, I'd like to just have a single "download next episode and queue after this" option that I can execute from the playlist.
