The sliders for changing the duration of a jump are currently rather difficult to use, and would benefit greatly from being changed to work like the slider that modifies the playback speed so that it's easier to input an exact value. Alternatively, these sliders could also be changed to allow the user to directly enter a number, which is the best option IMO.9 votes
Working on this for the next version
Add the options to change playback speed on Android Auto on the right slide/swipe screen34 votes
Next version will allow you to customize Android Auto controls and provide a playback speed toggle button
Have an option to select a directory where every folder in it would automatically be set up as a virtual podcast.15 votes
New beta now works differently. When you select a folder containing sub folders, the app asks you if you want to create a single podcast or as many podcasts as there are subfolders.
If you select the later, adding a new subfolder in your device memory later will not automatically create a new virtual podcast in the app
Would be great to be able to synchronize subscriptions, playlist, read status, ... between devices4,846 votes
The next couple of versions will focus in getting reed of any existing issue, then I will resume working on this feature.
I may have found a solution to handle the charge necessary and which might not cost too much.
Once a first beta with basic subscription syncing is available I will study the impact on the servers (and the cost), then I will add more syncing step by step, in order to sync the read status, favorite flag, playback progress, …
Hopefully I’ll be able to add this feature in the free version
Add a download manager to follow the download progress.
Allow parallel downloads, pause/resume, reordering, ...207 votes
The next version will allow to reorder downloads and to pause/resume them.
A first beta will be soon available
Concurrent downloads will be added in a future release
Since v3.27 the download manager as been improved and now displays an ‘error’ tab that will allow you to see a list of the past download failures, allowing you to retry the downloads without having to remember the episodes that failed to download in the first place
Add an option to automatically start the sleep timer in a specified time range. For example the sleep timer always runs between 10pm and 6am. This would allow users to not have to start it every night19 votes
I will add a new setting in Settings/Player/Timer called ‘Allways ON’
When enabled it will automatically start the sleep timer using the lastest timer settings when you start playing an episode
Edit: there will be no time range for now
