  1. Menu item to download unread for all subscriptions

    I would like to have a menu item to download all unread podcasts for all podcast subscriptions.

    There is an menu setting to do this but only on a per podcast basis. It would be nice to have a top-level menu item that applies the download to all subscriptions.

  2. old podcast not deleted

    The automatic deletion of old podcasts is not working. My podcast folder is full of old files. I just tested by downloading a new podcast just today and listening to it. After listening to it the app says it has been marked as deleted but the file is soil there.

    In case of a bug please open a ticket using the contact support button.

    It looks like you didn’t enabled the automatic deletion of read episodes.You can do it in Settings/Automatic cleanup. You can also override this feature for each podcast : long press on a podcast => custom settings

  3. Lock screen controls not working on Galaxy S4.

    The controls don't show up in the lock screen anymore.

  5. make it possible to manually slide podcasts into the order you desire. Every time I try, it messes up

    On case of a bug please open a ticket using the contact support button.

    Are you talking about the playlist reordering?
    If so please try to clear it and then add again your episodes using the ‘enqueue downloaded episodes’ menu. Does it fix the issue?

  6. BUG : when making a research (for new podcast)

    when making a research (for new podcast) it shows me a Toast "1 résultat", but nothing is shown in the list (example with : "tales of the world")

  7. bug: prematurely ending downloaded track

    Some of the podcasts I downloaded weren't able to play through until the end.
    The status was downloaded, but when I tried to skip to the last minutes, it wouldn't play.

  8. allocate fixed spaces for adverts rather than adjusting layout after the advert loads and is rendered which pushes things up the screen.

    As explained on the Play store, I’m using Google admob to display the ads. The ad banner only shows when there’s a network connection and after it retrieved an ad to display. I updated the player layout in the past releases to make the buttons bigger to avoid pressing on the ad banner by mistake. Please update if your’re not on 1.23.2

  10. you find the bug that is causing it to freeze at start up. The only way to get it to start is to shut the phone down off completely.

  15. A bug with episode thumbnails in list of episodes

    Looks like a bug with episode thumbnails in list of episodes: for downloaded and enqueued the thumbnail is replaced from episode-specific with the podcast-top-level-thumbnail making it difficult to distinguish episodes between each other. I can provide a screnshot.

    Please open a ticket using the ‘Contact support’ button to report a bug.
    I’m not sure there’s a bug in what you describe. When there’re no thumbnail available for episodes, the podcast thumbnail is used. Also make sure you didn’t enable Settings/Data usage/Thumbnail download/Wifi only, otherwise the thumbnails will only download over wifi

  16. Auto start playback when connecting headphones

    It would be great if there was an option to start playback automatically when connecting headphones/headset. The idea is that I unplug them upon arriving at work and it stops, and about 8 hours later I plug them in and continue where I left off - awesomeness. It's also a good way to pause playback without handling your phone if you don't have headset buttons.

    You can already do this by enabling the following:

    Settings/Player/Headset/Keep listening to controls

    Settings/Player /Headset/Resume on connection

    That way the app will be able to start playback when plugging the headset even if the player isn’t started.
    But be carreful, because Podcast Addict will then react to every controls even if another app is opened

  17. add ability to filter by downloaded episodes per subscription

    in the podcast subscription view, I would like to filter out all non-downloaded episodes, so I can just focus on the episodes available to me immediately on my phone storage.

    What you should do is enable automatic playlist (Settings/Playlist). That way downloaded episodes are automatically added to the playlist. Then you just need to open the playlist to have access to every content available on your device.

    Since the last improvement i cannot classify my regitered podcast insside the playlist.
    I used to choose the order of listening and create a sort of personal playlist .the older version was easier ton configure (to sort but also to automatical download ).

    Don’t forget to specify which version of the app you are using.
    Playlist work the same as well as Automatic download, so please describe exaclty your settings and the step by step process you are following to reproduce this issue.

  19. directions on how to do things. I still have not new been able to get a single podcast. I have some listed but nothing downloads! Help!!

  20. Choose a different icon for Podcast Addict

    The app's syringe icon, with its reference to injection and drug addiction is off putting and unprofessional. A mainstream app needs to have a more professional and attractive icon.

    I have been put off installing podcast addict for some time solely because of its icon, despite a friend having recommended the app to me. This is a shame, because it seems to be a decent podcast app.
