Add a "fit to screen" option for video podcasts
I'd love to be able to utilize the entire screen of my phone for video podcasts, and with phones getting larger and larger it would be great to be able to use the whole screen. I've been using Podcast Addict for years and hands down it's the best podcast app out there. Love your work guys! Keep it up!!

Heads Up Overlay When Scrolling in Lists
Can you show a large letter overlay over the list view with the letter of the top-left corner episode/Podcast title name while fast scrolling?
When I'm fast scrolling, it's hard to tell what podcasts are being shown on the screen. Could you put a ghosted (translucent) white letter in large font next to the top of the scroll bar to show what letter I'm on?
Example: scrolling the list of podcasts, a letter pops ups with "A", then when a podcast that starts with "B" goes to the top left corner, it switches the letter to "B"

Option to make long topics of podcasts in the recent section be broken into two lines instead of cut off.
So a long topic that now looks like "Hurricane Irma: The Aftermath and..." would be able to look like this instead:
"Hurricane Irma: The Aftermath-
and Caribbean Disaster Response"Thank you for creating an amazing app, keep up the good work!.

Load more (older) recent episode in the recent episode list by continuing to scroll down when at the bottom of the list.
Or add a date range or a "load older episodes" button.

Automatically cue the first episode in the playlist after downloading episodes
I know you can play from the top of the playlist, but only after playing the currently selected episode from the that is in the middle of the playlist. I'd like to get in my car in the morning with the morning news ready to play in the player rather than have to go into the playlist and select that episode.

I would like to see a feature that would automatically pause or stop playback when power is disconnected.
I currently do this function with Tasker, but it would be nice to have a setting within the app to do this. There is a similar function for when headphones are disconnected, but not power.

ability to move an episode to the top of the playlist, without being in the playlist
For example, when browsing a podcast and manually downloading an episode, to be able to send it to the top of the list, without leaving the podcast screen, or changing the playlist sort settings.

Per podcast setting to put recently published at the top of the playlist
Different than what is currently available through the use of priority. I have a custom sorted playlist. Some podcasts, I am listening to old episodes, and want those to stay evenly sorted in my playlist. When one of these publishes a new episode, I would like the option to have that sent to top or next played in the playlist, without changing my sort settings.

I want to have a few Playlist by Learning goal (Javascript, copuwriting, etc)
Often I want to add just a single episode to a above list and then organize them, effectively creating a curriculum.

Add download folder option for 'Nvidia_Shield' folder on external drive
This IS allowed by Android on the Nvidia Shield Android TV even though other SD access isn't. It would be very useful to be able to store any number of downloads on the external drive. At the moment I have to set up a backup app to move everything after it downloads.

Allow categories on episodes, not just podcasts
I would love to be able to change the category on specific episodes within a podcast. Some podcasts have various formats that could be tagged, live episodes or even certain guests/characters.
I know I can search, but being able to go to the custom playlist and have a ready built playlist of all the MOPES episodes from improv4humans, for example, would be great.

Offer a free storage reserve in the download or storage setting, so that Auto-downloading doesn't cause low storage problems.
Reserve ___ free storage: At least for those like me with no auxiliary storage, offer an option to stop downloading at a user adjustable amount of free storage, rather than the app's existing limit. I get low storage messages and some apps limit functionality after auto-downloading podcasts. Can't reply to mail, view attachments...

Settings presets instead of overriding settings for each podcast individually
I have two main types of podcasts I am listening too.
- Story based podcasts This type of Podcast tells a story over multiple episodes. The content often isn't related to the current events but can be listened years after publication. The episodes build on one another. An example would be 'Serial'. The listening order should be the order of publication. For this kind I override the settings like this:
Automatic download: yes
Archive mode: yes
Download older first: yes
Automatic playlist: yes
Delete: noI sort the podcast by date, old->new

Skip segments based on unique sounds
Some of the podcasts I listen to put their intro music partway into the episode, after they've set the "hook" for the listener. I'd like to be able to define the theme music itself as something to be skipped, so as soon as the player recognizes the theme, it skips ahead to the end of the theme music. Or, since a lot of podcasts delineate their segments with predetermined sounds, it would be cool to be able to define each segment by its intro, and then decide which segments to listen to, or skip.

Make it so that I can change font size of the whole app, not just the episode descriptions.
On moto g5 plus the font is so huge that the long-press menus sometimes fills the whole screen. There's a lot of wasted whitespace in the menus and generally in the app too. It looked okay on mye previous phone, but now it's become really cluncky and awkward to use. Please make it possible to minimize font size and the size of the menus.

Allow an optional argument to the intents for Playlist to specify which one to open
I'm using the Tasker intents to create shortcuts (rather than widgets) to open the playlist or the player, but I have constructed a number of different playlists (using categories, priorities and sorting) for different situations. It would be great if I could specify with an intent the name of the category to use without having to manually select one interactively, particularly as most of my podcast playing is done while I'm driving, so anything that minimises the interaction needed is beneficial.
e.g. add an optional arg1 (string) to
com.bambuna.podcastaddict.openplaylist – Open the app on the Playlist screen

Second set of seek buttons - more jump buttons in either direction
Would be great to have a second set of SEEK buttons, or even better, a maximum of 4 seek buttons in any direction (e.g. 3 back, 1 forward; or all 4 backwards).
That way users would be able to jump back or forward to whatever distance, without the need to tapping on any one button like crazy, several times to reach the desired position; or if set to a longer duration, wouldn’t have to listen to a long part again.To have an idea of what I’m referring to, have a look at Music Folder Player.
