    amoled black on car player mode.

    Hi, I usually leave the screen on when listening to podcast on the car player mode.

    It would be nice if we could have an amoled black layout that takes the background blurred image and the playing show art os the battery last longer

  2. Ability to share to facebook with currently listening to

    Add the ability to share to facebook via the "tickler" a currently listening to which would have the artist, name of episode, link to the episode and maybe something like brought to you by podcast addict. And possibly the ability to share the episode link like you can with Twitter once the episode has been fully listened to.

  3. Random zapping

    Some podcast are some years old and have a lot of "hidden" content.

    Usually it is used "latest episodes" or "downloaded episodes" to choose what to listen and what to not.

    To navigate through an old podcast to discover good episode you want in that moment is quite slow.

    I suggest another lay out where random old podcast episodes are shown, it could be activated with a command similar to refresh. We could even choose things like: how many podcast do we want to be episodes taken from each time. If we want just unwatched episodes. If we want some…

  4. Show the duration of the skip duration above the skip buttons

    As I didn't know the duration of the skip buttons until I came here...

    Please put a small number that is the skip duration (set in the settings) close to the skip buttons.

  5. Launch live stream with an intent

    Could it be possible to start a live stream with an intent for automation purpose ?

    We can play/pause but starting a live stream is not doable isn't it ?

  6. Download video to USB device using OTG cable

    Allow a setting to only download videos to a USB device plugged in using an OTG cable. This extends life of phone storage, allows much more storage, and quickly transfer files to a PC.

  7. Automatically apply custom settings at category-level.

    This is the main feature that is preventing me from ditching BeyondPod entirely for Podcast Addict...

    Use Case: When I subscribe to a new podcast, I assign it to a category called 'Auditions'. In BeyondPod, this action automatically assigns the custom settings of 'Auditions' to the podcast (which dictates that only one episode is downloaded at a time).

    If I like the podcast, I will remove it from the category 'Auditions' and place it in 'Favorites', where it automatically conforms to the custom settings of its new category (thereby downloading three episodes at a time).

  8. Recently deleted

    I've had a few instances where I've accidentally deleted episodes and not known which ones. Is it possible to have a 'Recently deleted' section to redownload and add these to my playlist.

  10. True BLACK/Monochromatic theme

    I found the black theme, but I would love for this to apply true black throughout the app.
    I see a lot of deep gray and that against black accents appears almost like a deteriorated screen color or dirty black.
    Deep, monochromatic black everywhere...beautiful.

  11. Move Podcast Custom Sort option from Display settings to Custom Setting

    As of now, to enable custom sort ordering for a podcast, you need to follow a few steps:
    1. "Main Menu">"Display settings">"Custom Sorting"
    2. Go back to the individual podcast and set the Sort order.

    But now all podcasts follow their individual Sorting order.

    In my experience, I mostly use 1 sorting type, but have a couple podcasts that follow a different order.

    Additionally, I have found that the "Custom Sorting" toggle is only accessible from the "Display Setting" when in the main menu. I found this very confusing as a new user.

    I propose that the "Custom Sort" option…

  12. I accidentally tapped Trash (delete) button. Please give us undelete option for accidents like this

    I propose something like Gmail: Do delete the podcast immediately when we tap the Trash icon. But, like Gmail, add an "Undo" button for accidents.

  13. Please work on your non-touchscreen navigation.

    It's impossible to actually play an episode of a podcast using a directional remote, yet it's available for big screen devices that don't have touch screens.

  15. "Download Later" category

    Would you be able to create one more podcast category called something like "podcast queue". The purpose of this category is to add(or just bookmark) the podcast episodes, which should be downloaded in some moment in the future. This feature could help on users with small amount of free phone storage, but with a huge list of interesting podcasts waiting to be heard sometimes in near future.

  17. Add an option for "alow once" for download/update/stream

    One thing i miss in your app is an option for "alow once"

    Example: under settings/network/ i have sett all options to download Wi-Fi only to save on my mobile data.
    But let's say that i am at work on mobile data and decided i want to check if one new podcast is out yet, then i need to go all the way to settings and unchecked Wi-Fi only for both update and then download, and after update and download is complete i need to go back to settings and check them again.

  18. Sort podcasts by play time so I can time it to Google Maps

    So basically I like to listen to full podcasts. I want to be able to fit it into a driving trip. Can you find me podcasts that are ~n minutes long, for any Natural number n? I figure I can stay in the car an extra minute to listen to a wrap-up.

  20. Add an option not to download episode thumbnail even while using Wi-Fi

    Thank you for this amazing app.
    It would be nice if you could disable the option to download episode thumbnails, which take a lot of space on the phone memory. Currently, you can disable it if you are using your mobile data, but it'd nice if you could add this feature as a general one (even when download using Wi-Fi)
