  1. Xavier, please make a radio app. We're stuck with the crappy ones that already exist

    A radio app as intuitive, simple and functional as PA doesn't exist. Tunein has become a Rube Goldberg machine unable to manage its favorites. Radio.fr is fine but lack functionalities and the UI is outdated
    A PA-like radio app would be at least equally successful I think.

  2. add the player controls to the bottom of the playlist screen.

    By having both the player controls and update button (as is) on the playlist screen, this would allow for like 95% of the functions on one screen.

    This will save a lot of extra clicks that are currently needed to switch between the player controls, playlist, and list/grid view.

    This would be a great addition to already great software.

  3. Add user accounts/profiles

    I've used podcast addict on 4 phones now. I love the app, so I keep downloading it every time I get a new phone or tablet. I get frustrated, however, when I have to re-subscribe to all my favorite podcasts, sort through all the episodes I've already listened to, readjust all my settings, etc... If I had the ability to log into my account as soon as I reloaded the app, perhaps even link it to my Facebook profile, life would be a little better.   5. Add FF/RW buttons to Android Auto on slide screen

    Add buttons to the slide screen along with the favorite and sync functions. When listening to podcasts it is necessary to navigate to an episode and then to skip commercials... I've seen this in another app... it'd be nice to be able to select whether FF or skip is on the main screen or slide screen.

  9. Would be nice if long-press delete used the Trash.

    Seems like long-press delete does not send episodes to the trash. Would be nice if it did, so that if I change my mind, I can avoid redownloading the episode.

    Once an episode has been listen to it can be automatically deleted if you enabled the automatic deletion feature. Otherwise if you delete an episode it will also been marked as read. If you mark an episode as read, it will not be deleted.

    In case this isn’t exactly what you were talking about please tell me

  12. filter podcast by name for automatic download

    I'd like to download some files from a podcast source, but not all the podcasts from that source. This would require the following features:
    * filter podcasts by a search expression
    * create multiple recurring download queue entries
    * set a frequency of recurrence (usually 24hr)
    * set a frequency to test for new files (say every 10 minutes)
    * have a rule to not keep testing for a new file for a given search expression once it is found in any 24 hour period.

    It looks like you can now do this by using the podcast filtering settings. You will be able to filter by type (audio, video, text) and by keywords (included and/or excluded)
    Please let me know if this doesn’t solve your issue.

  13. Enable syncing with google podcasts or similar service.

    Since creating a PC app is probably a lot of work, it would be maybe easier and (for me) just as effective to sync subscribed/listened episodes with the google account/google podcasts now that it has a web platform?

  17. Potential bluetooth related "continuation" problem

    I don't know if this problem is unique to me, but in my research of recreating the problem, it seems to have started happening since the last Podcast Addict update.

    I use the built-in bluetooth capability of my car radio to listen to the podcasts I download with the app. It behaved quite well for the many months I used the app.

    In the past, I have always just shut off the car, which shuts off the radio, which causes podcast addict to automatically "pause" as expected. But recently, the same sequence of events work as before, but after a…

  18. Be able to favourite episodes from podcasts we might not want to be subscribed to

    Sometimes I wish to favourite particular episodes of certain podcasts so that I can give them a listen later for some reason or another, but at the same time do not want to subscribe to that podcast anymore.

  20. Create a toggle to display the entire title of the currently playing podcast.

    Prior to the current update, the title of the currently playing podcast used to scroll so that the user could see the full title, both within the app and the notification widget. Now it doesn't move at all, so if a user wants to know what the whole title is, they have to open the app all the way to the individual episode screen.     There’s no need to be aggressive here.
    Yes sometimes I don’t understand a feature request which means that I might need more detail.

    Regarding this issueI’m sorry but I’m not able to reproduce that problem. Can you please provide more detail on the current screen you are so I can understand where the problem is? Also did you try rebooting the device?
