  3. Allow filter for episodes older than a certain calendar date.

    I'd like to move from my current podcast app to podcast addict. There are many podcasts that I am "halfway" through listening to. I would like to mark all episodes older than that as read. So, for instance, let's say there's a podcast with 150 episodes, and (in my current app) I just listened to episode 95. I'd like a way to mark all episodes from 1-95 as read in podcast addict. This way I can easily continue without having to individually mark the earlier episodes as read.

  4. Abandon du stream en cas de perte de reseau

    Bonjour,
    J'utilise beaucoup les flux radio. En streaming, donc. Et ce, en transport, avec les coupures réseau fréquentes qui s'y associent. Si la coupure dure un certain temps (je dirais 1 minute), l'appli semble abandonner et stop la lecture. M'obligeant à relancer la lecture manuellement lorsque la connexion revient. Je comprend bien la nécessité d'abandonner pour ne pas vider la batterie. Ceci dit, ne serait-il pas possible de surveiller l'état du réseau, pour relancer la lecture des celui-ci de retour ? A défaut, peut-être au moins permettre de régler la durée avant abandon ? Dans mon cas, 5 minutes au…

  5. Move all controls to the bottom of the screen

    All the controls (like share, download, favorite star, even the sandwich) should be on the bottom of the screen. It just makes so much more sense on the big screens we have nowadays. Especially if you have 18:9 screen ratio.

  7. Add delay when resuming bt/wired connection

    I'd like an option to delay "resume playback when connecting a Bluetooth/wired connection. My Bluetooth speaker doesn't remember the last volume (or it's Android fault) and always at a very high volume (some wired speakers always start at 100!). You could à delay option in seconds to give the user the time to lower volume before playback starts.

  8. Swipe down to update podcasts while in playlist view of Player

    I'd like to be able to update my podcasts without having to switch over to the Podcasts portion of the app, instead of remaining in Player. What I intuitively do is swipe from the main player screen to the playlist tab and the swipe down. Eventually I'll learn that this doesn't work unless it gets added :) I can elaborate more on why I would like this.

  9. Widget - Add radios icons below main bar

    Would be convenient to use the PA widget for both podcasts and radios.
    In terms of usability:
    - either create a "favorite" tag.or enable pick & choose 5 or 6 radios
    - make it a widget option (hide/display radios) or users can just resize widget to hide radios or create a specific version of the widget

    Please add a "list" view for radios, the big icons are not convenient for lists longer than a few.

    I suggest this because PA seems close to be a good "all in one" player for streamed content. Sorry if I underestimate the work needed.

  10. Toggle previous/next on player screen

    I only listen to podcasts, so I don't need the previous/next track/chapter buttons. Often though I hit them inadvertently leading to a few seconds of buffering as it gets an unwanted podcast and then a couple more seconds of buffering getting desired podcast back.

  11. make it possible to view all downloaded video podcasts at a glance.

    This would be convenient for people like me who listen to audio podcasts on their mobile device, but who chromecast video podcasts to a tv. The current situation is fine, but requires people who subscribe to many podcasts to sift through them manually to identify the video ones for viewing (and to remember which ones are video podcasts to begin with).

    A minor QoL request for an excellent app. Thanks for all your work.

  12. Choose to throttle the speed of automatic downloads

    If I'm using an app that uses data (YouTube, Netflix, games) and Podcast Addict starts an automatic download of new podcasts, the app I'm in suddenly struggles to connect. It's as if Podcast Addict is using my entire data bandwidth to download the episodes as quickly as possible. It would be great if we could throttle the download speed of the app, i.e. set a maximum KB/s.

  15. Browser bookmarklet to quickly add Podcast to your library

    The idea is to create a browser bookmarklet that can be used in pages that present links to podcasts. Then the link would be to the app and the podcast would be automatically added to the library.

  16. Set "now playing" podcast based on playlist sort order on update

    Whenever an update happens (new episodes are downloaded and added to playlist), the current 'now playing' episode should have an option of switching to the first podcast in the new playlist instead of continuing with the current 'now playing' episode.

    Use case example:
    The podcast that I listen to posts a new episode everyday that I download overnight and listen to while I'm driving. The episode is typically longer that what I can listen to each day, but when I get in my car after updating overnight I want to start with the newest episode, not continue the previous day's…

  17. Clean up the podcasts that are listed

    Clean up the podcast that are listed. I love that you can search by organization, eg I can search for all the NPR podcasts. Although, to my annoyance, there are doubles if not triples, quadruples of the same podcast. Some of the time they are identical duplicates, but other times the duplicate will only feature some of the podcast episodes from the specific podcast in query. I find this frustrating as I may click on the one that does not carry all the episodes, or it is missing the older/newer ones and I have to filter through to see which…

  18. Add exceptions to "Ignore Audio Focus requests"

    I have "Ignore Audio Focus requests" enabled so I can freely use games or other apps without having to resume playback. However, I would like it to acknowledge focus requests from the phone app to stop playback when I get a call.

  20. Add a Disallowed Wi-Fi filter

    Currently the Wi-Fi filter feature requires users to identify allowed networks. Is it possible to add a list of disallowed networks ?
