Auto download based on name or filter
For example, a podcast has two different types of episodes, A & B.
Type A episodes are named “TypeA - <name> episode 1”, “TypeA - <name> episode 2” etc.
Type B episodes are named “TypeB - <name> episode 1”, “TypeB - <name> episode 2” etc.If I am only interested in Type B episodes and not Type A, I would like to auto download only Type B episodes.
I still want to be able to see both Type A & Type B episodes in the list, but only Type B episodes get auto downloaded.

Add a button in playback statistics to add a podcasts not started and partially listened to episodes to playlist.
In the playback statistics it would be nice to have a way to show all episodes of an podcast which have not been fully listened to. This way I can find the episodes which I have not (complety) listened to.

Optional End Time in Bookmark
Currently bookmark has the input for starting time. Consider to include the option for end time in the bookmark, and also option to repeat within the timeframe. This is useful when we just want to listen to a certain segment within the podcast. We can also listen repeatedly within the segment. This feature is useful for learning languages by repetitive listening.

Extended listening stats page
The stage page shows history of the last and current year, month,...
It would be nice to be able to go back further to compare to get a better view on my listening habits.
A more detailed screen with time per month for all months would be great, but an export as csv would be sufficient for me.14 votes -
Implement an intent to announce remaining time (configurable for other parameters)
I find myself in many a situation where I'd love to know the episode remaining time without having to actually get and unlock my phone (exercising, driving, etc.). In these situations, I control playback via various Bluetooth remote devices. It would be fantastic to have an intent that pauses playback while it announces remaining episode time. One would be able to program a button combination to invoke the announcement. One could also set up a Tasker timer for regular announcements, etc.

Consolidate Similar User Suggestions (e.g., Volume Compressor/Normalizer)
I see a lot of votes being wasted on uservoice because there are many similar or identical feature suggestions with slightly different titles. This breaks up the voting pool, leaving unrepresentative user priorities. I suggest an audit by the admin to consolidate votes from all similar suggestions into one, if possible. For example, there are at least 10 different posting calling for audio/volume compression/normalization. Two of which have high vote counts, separately.

Add a password or pin option.
I'm our increasingly online world, it would be great to be able to secure the app with a password or pin so that in the event someone breaks into my phone they can't snoop on my listening habits.

Add "Refresh Podcast" option while long pressing icon on home screen
It currently has “Search Engine", "Radio Stations", "Playlist", etc.
If there is a limit to the number of items (say 4), then give us an option to edit as per our need.

Tri dans la liste des podcasts en en erreur de téléchargement
Actuellement dans la partie "téléchargement" onglet "erreur" les podcasts présent sont triés par date d'essai de téléchargement.
Est il possible d'ajouter un tri par date de sortie d'épisodes ?
Ou alors d'avoir une option lors de la programmation de la synchro automatique, d'essayer de retelecharger les épisodes en erreur.Merci pour l'app !

Add a feature in episode filtering for phrases in the episode text description. For instance, be able to filter out StarTalk episodes that have the phrase "Playing with Science" somewhere in the description for those who are not really into sports but want to hear the other science topics on that playlist.

Back button
Once the player starts, using the back button usually goes out of the App to the phone "desktop". I don't need that because my phone has a button for that - I get a sinking "oh bother" feeling almost every time.
Most times I would like it to return me to the same place in the list of podcasts I've just come from (either form the same subscription or a search result) – then I can select another one from the sequence or category.
Or perhaps this is a setting I have not noticed - please help me find it.9 votes -

Automatically mark episodes older than ... as played
I'm subscribed to serveral "News" Podcasts, some of them updating their feed every hour.
I'm not interested in hourly news from 12 hours ago and they clutter the "unplayed episodes" list, a per-podcast setting to automatically either "Mark all but the latest episode as played" or "Mark episodes older than n hours/days/month as played" would be very convenient.

Drag and Drop Priority List
The current podcast priority settings are difficult to update. As I add more podcast subscriptions, the current priority buckets either become more crowded (making them less effective), or I have to create a new priority bucket and then manually update numbers on all of the other podcasts. This is time consuming and has sometimes prevented me from wanting to add more subscriptions.
Drag and drop for each episode would make this much easier to update. You could still drop multiple episodes into one priority bucket just like it is now. A single tap could still function the same (type in…

Set number of unplayed episoded
I'm a new Android user coming from iPhone. 1 feature I used a lot on my old player on IOS was to set a number of unplayed episodes.
I follow 1 podcast publishing 5 new episodes/day, and normally I only listen to the morning episode. This creates a lot of cleanup per day.

Ordre de (la liste de) lecture intelligent
L'alternance des épisodes de différents podcasts est bien mais insuffisante à mon avis. Ainsi j'estime qu'un podcast quotidien devrait passer 5 fois plus souvent que les podcasts hebdomadaires.
Autre méthode éventuelle : salve de x épisodes d'un podcast dont le nombre d'épisodes est x fois plus nombreux que les autres. Ainsi, 5 épisodes quotidiens pour 1 épisode des podcasts hebdomadaires.
Dans la même logique, 1 épisode de podcast mensuel passerait tous les 30 épisodes des autres podcasts.3 votes -
Dater un épisode depuis le nom du fichier
Sauf erreur de ma part, avec un podcast virtuel, les épisodes ont la date du tag year lorsqu'elle est au format yyyy-mm-dd (quoique ça semble souvent ne pas fonctionner *) ou la date du fichier si le tag year ne contient que l'année ou est vide. Hélas ces 2 données ne peuvent être modifiées (en tout cas sans outils spécialisé). Ne pourrait-on envisager de reconnaître et prendre en compte la date dans le nom du fichier ? Exemple : SuiteDeCaractères-20200322.mp3 pour un épisode à la date du 22 mars 2020.

Because I found some RSS provided by some sites didn't come with whole article, just a part. This function has been seen in other RSS clients. Hope to see this feature soon. Thanks.

Provide a means to track podcasts I have finished or do not want to subscribe to
There are a lot of podcasts that I have either finished or rejected. I'd like a way to keep a list of these that when searching would cause an indication of which podcasts I've already considered. It would only need to save the URL. None of the history or episodes would be needed. The app settings should then have an option to add the URL to this list automatically when unsubscribing. When searching for podcasts the menu should allow adding the URL to the list instead of subscribing for when one has looked at and rejected a podcast.
