  3. Sort podcasts by date of subscription

    Sometimes after I've subscribed to several new podcasts I want to listen to them but I forget which ones I've recently subscribed to and they get lost in the full podcast list. Could you add a sort option to sort by when I subscribed (newest to oldest, or I guess oldest to newest)? Thanks!

  4. Looping playlist back to top.

    Today I added a virtual podcast and added all episodes to the end of my playlist, started listening to these episodes and when they finished the playlist didn’t return to the top and carry on, is this a setting I’ve missed or something that could be added? Great app by the way top quality.

  6. Use a Metadata field to fill the description pane of Virtual Podcast episodes

    It would be great to use a field to fill the description pane of Virtual Podcast episodes. For example METADATAKEYGENRE.

    I found some files that are using the COMM key to store a description. The next version of the app will support this and display this content as the episode description. If you have some mp3 files that use other tag, please send me an email so I can check them (Settings/Feedback)

  8. Scheduled automatic refresh by Category

    We currently have the automatic refresh which we can choose a time and then the frequency which updates all feeds. However, I'd like to have a scheduled automatic download by category.

    User case - I follow NHL and during the season there is a daily podcast which is available at 18:30, so only need to refresh the category which this feed is in. Now I could set the main one to refresh at 06:30 and then every 12 hours but I've already left home for work, so want to download on my home wi-fi.

  12. add a playlist widget for Android (not just a player)

    Rather that just the player widget I thought a widget for the playlist would be useful, especially when you are listening to the podcast on the app, but are doing other things on your phone and want to look at what's up next (or change things)

  13. Button:"episodes since last refresh".

    It would be great to have a button like "episodes since last refresh". Myself I do only manual refreshes and this way there would be a possibility to see just the new episodes, without the old ones. Saves heaps of time selecting new episodes

  14. Do not download if device is near full

    As someone who does a lot of viewing/ listening offline, my device is often low on space and the download manager does not seem to deal with it, getting stuck in a cycle of trying to download, failing, deleting the file and looping round infinitely. Setting an option to hold downloads until a set amount of space is available would be critical to fixing this.

  15. Change the speed depending on the Bluetooth device connected

    When I'm in my car, I listen with a 1.3x speed, but with my headphones I like it at normal speed.

  17. Setting to Remove the "Previous" and "Next Track" Buttons from Podcast Interface

    When listening to Podcasts, the Skip a few seconds back a and forward are really helpful. But it's too easy to hit the "Previous" and "Next Track" buttons by mistake! That's probably why PocketCast doesn't have those, among others.

    For users like me, it would be fabulous to have a setting to remove those from the interface.

  18. Add an option to automatically set 404 links to "Played" and download the next episode.

    I currently have PA set to download the oldest episode for each Podcast, and to only have 1 episode downloaded at a time. This allows me to round robin my podcasts and hear them in the order they were released.

    Some of these podcasts are years old and have "Introducing Our Other Show" episodes that they've since removed. These links return a 404 error from the RSS feed. This essentially halts my entire flow from that podcast until I go mark the failed download as "played" and manually download the next episode.

    So, a checkbox to skip 404 links outright…

  19. Die Möglichkeit zu schaffen das beim hinzufügen von Titeln zur Playlist, diese automatisch runtergeladen werden

    Die Konfiguration dahingehend, das nur dann heruntergeladen wird, wenn tizel zur Playlist hinzugefügt wird.

  20. Sort favorites by 'played on' date

    There's no option to sort favorite episodes by the time they were played/completed/marked as favorite.
    'Played on' is shown in the history view.
    In my opinion 'last played' should be the default sort order for this view. The closest thing currently available is 'downloaded on'.
