Ability to "Select All" text and paste that text to another app or word processor. Love this App. Almost perfect. I subscribe to some podcasts that have hundreds of possible downloads going back years. I would like to select all text and copy to clipboard in Android. Then paste to google Docs or a word processor. Why? Do a "Find" for certain people, places and things. Once I find something interesting I can go back to Podcast App and download that particular episode.

Make time remaining in Android Auto view optional
The time remaining feature renders all scrobbling apps useless as any time gets put in the Artist field. Please make this optional.

Add podcast duration when sharing
A suggestion, please add podcast duration when sharing (Share > Episode Description) podcast details. I subscribe to several relevant to my field an track podcast times for CPE credits. Thanks!

Separate sleeptimer for webradio
I do not use webradio with a sleeptimer.
When I switch off the sleeptimer using webradio I always have to switch it on again when playing a podcast.
So please use two separate "reminders" in the app for having sleeptimer activated: one for podcasts and one for Webradio.

Export more detailed listening statistics
I like the listening statistics feature, but I often want to know more about my habits, more explicitly, and to be able to work with that data a bit.
Being able to track/download events such as time of playback, time of stopping, episode timestamp of start/stop, sleep timer timeout, or sleep timer interrupted, would be really interesting for me.
I write scripts that graoh and analyse my behaviour from exported data from mood tracker apps/my exported calendar, and often podcast addict is a good indicator of when i actually slept, or how I was feeling during my commute to/from work.35 votes -
Expand the complex sort order found in Playlists to other sections.
The complex sort order found in Playlists (⇅Order by) incredibly useful. I would appreciate being able to sort in the same way in al rhe other sections like Downloaded Episodes, New Episodes, Playback in progress, All.

Filter/exclude podcasts by episode text
It would be great to be able to filter podcasts by episode text. You can currently filter by episode title, but a lot of podcasts will put text like "REBROADCAST" within the text body instead. It doesn't seem like the filter works on the text body.

Option to don't play the next episode in the playlist automatically
I personally use the playlist only to have an automatic list of podcasts to listen to, but I want to listen to a single one every day.

Filter podcast search by publication date
I'm not sure if this is already posted, but I miss the option to filter your search results by release date. For example, if you search for "house music" of no specific podcast, you will find thousands of results, of which only 200 results are shown.
Yes, you can sort by Publication date, but it will only show the 200 newest or the 200 oldest episodes. And if you search for a specific year, not all episodes will mention that number either. So therefore, I think a Publication Date filter would be useful.5 votes -
Batch/Multiple Delete option
Often when starting a new non-serial podcast there will be hundreds of episodes, Joe Rogan Experience for example. Not all of the episodes would be interesting to me, is there a way to select multiple at a time for deletion prior/post downloading individual episodes?
Sort of a "Delete all not downloaded" or selecting them individually then a single "Delete Selected/Batch" option? I can only seem to delete one at a time from the list of non-downloaded.
1 voteYou can use the app select mode to select multiple episodes and then apply a batch action like ‘Mark as played’.
You can enable this mode from the screen option menu.
You can also long press on the episode artwork for a quick select mode -
have a Setting to control volume completely
At present, there are only 2 settings for volume - one is the default volume, and one is somewhat louder. Make a full control of volume, so the sound would go from very soft to very loud
