  3. Auto-play in android auto

    Android auto has a setting that allows the application to auto-start playing music/sound, at the moment PA actively ignores it.

    It would be ideal if it followed the setting and auto-started playing if it's configured to do so.

  4. Erweiterung Timer im Player

    Möglichkeit der Eingabe im Timer-Menü, dass z.B. drei "EInträge" der Playlist ab aktueller Position abgespielt werden.

    Am Rande: Warum läuft der Timer weiter (zählt runter), wenn das Abspielen eines Eintrags pausiert wird?

  6. Where did episode descriptions go?

    "Post a review" had replaced the episode description. This is ruining an app If I can't see the episode description, I'll find a better app.

    The number of subscribers would be more useful if it was last year's subscribers instead of all-time subscribers.

  8. Give an option to sort each show in a different way.

    Some podcasts I'm listening to on a weekly basis, and I'm all caught up. For those I want to sort by "publication date (new->old)". That way newest rise to the top and playback sequence goes backwards in time.

    Other podcasts I may be just starting, with years of serial progression or story telling to catch up on. For those I want to sort by "publication date (old->new). That way the first episodes rise to the top and playback sequence progresses as intended.

    As it is right now, changing the sort option affects all shows at the same time. I'd love…

  9. No sé si existe la función, no la he encontrado, querría poder establecer un tiempo de duración de los podcast para adaptarlos a mis viajes.

  11. allow video podcasts to be played as audio only (if desired)

    what if you can't play the video due to an internal error or something, podcast addict skips it and goes to the next one in the playlist. by doing this you missed the video. there should be an option to play the audio of the video that has already been downloaded. The audio is much better than not podcast at all.

    You can already pkay video podcast in the background. Just make sure you disabled video foreground playback in settings/player. But in your case it won’t help you if the app fails to play the file. Please open a ticket with app version, android version, device, feed URL and episode name using the contact support button.

  12. Podcast takes a long time to start playing after hitting play

    I usually hit play from the widget to resume a already downloaded podcast. Most times it takes 20-30 seconds for the podcast to start playing. After hitting play if I open the app it'll show the podcast that I'm listening to but the progress bar doesn't appear until the song finally starts playing. Been happening for months now.

    Hi,

    I’m guessing you’re streaming your episode so it depends on the speed of your internet connection. If you play episodes that are already downloaded it will start playing right away.
