  1. View a list of episodes in a category

    Currently it is only possible to view a list of podcasts within a category, I would like the option to view all the individual episodes in a category.

    Next version will allow you to select if you want to filter episodes list screen by podcast (like it is right now) or by category. If you select the later, then you can easily select the episodes for a specific category to apply an action like download, mark played, add to playlist, …

  2. Add Support to Override Podcast Title by Specific Character Limit

    Some podcasts, like Friday Mixtape, have repetitive but long Podcast names. Eg. "Friday MixTape 271 - by @TheLastMinute", "Friday Mixtape 272 - by @TheLastMinute". The unnecessary length ruins custom widgets in UCCW and Zooper (as well as others). The ability to truncate this or even override specific track names would be a welcome feature.

  3. Build a web app

    This would allow multiple devices to sync to the main database online and users could choose which devices to use to listen to. If I'm on my computer I just load up the website interface. If I'm in a reading mood I can be on my tablet, then when I feel like walking I can pick up my phone and continue listening where I left off on my tablet.

    The business side exists too. As users sign up your organization will obtain tons of customer and user data to better target ads, promotions, and podcast suggestions. Email newsletters that talk…

  4. Always allow manual drag & drop in the play list no matter what sort option is selected

    There should be no need to have to select this option from the sort menu

  6. Only start automatically triggered downloads when the device is plugged in

    At the moment, the automatic downloads trigger regardless of the power state.

    It would be great to have an option to prevent downloads when the device is running on battery or when it is running on battery and below a certain percentage battery charge.

    Otherwise, this is a fantastic app which I enjoy using.

  7. Prioritise feed updates by day of week

    Prioritise podcast feed updates by the day of the week that they are usually updated, ie. today is Monday which the feed of Comedy Bang Bang evinces is posted every Monday without fail so I should check and queue the downloads of that one first because it is likely (especially with automatic updates turned off) that the user is checking for updates to the podcast they expect will be available.

  9. Show the listened date

    When viewing details of a podcast which was listened to previously, showing the date it was listened to would help when trying to keep track of what was in a podcast you want to go back to. I use many of my podcasts for CPE credit, and having that would simplify tracking my time.

  10. Compact List display to have more episodes displayed at a time

    Add a compact list option to display a list of episodes without podcast thumbnail and description to save some space and have more episodes displayed at a time.
    On my HTC Desire S, I only see 3 episodes, it could be extended to 8...

  11. Allow swiping L/R between views...

    Instead of using a drop down to choose which screen or view I want, simply swipe left and right between them.

    For example, if I'm viewing categories then I could swipe from the right to move into pod casts view, then again to see feeds, and again to playlist, and finally to the player. Then swipe from the left to go up the other way. Beyond Pod used to do that and it was simple, fast, and naturally intuitive.

  12. Knowing number of downloaded episodes in each podcast

    In podcast list, in add to the number of available episodes and "not read" ones, I would like to have the number of downloaded episode as well.

  13. Add smart playlist based on age/groups/priorities

    Allow putting subscriptions into category groups with priorities for the the groups and within the groups. Then have a auto-playlist that goes in newest/priority order within the unplayed episodes in your favorite group, then next favorite, etc., always going back to the top of the list when you finish an item if new episodes have been added. That would simplify car listening by always making the newest episode of your favorite topic group that is available the default at the top of the list.

  14. Separate Bluetooth/Headphone start on connect

    Love to have the podcast startup when it automatically when it connects via Bluetooth in the vehicle but don't necessarily want it to auto startup when I plug in headphones to watch a movie.

  15. Offer an option to sort playlist by Shuffle

    I know there is the random button that plays my playlist in random order, but I'd enjoy the option to shuffle the order of my playlist. Currently, this is something I have to do manually by drag & drop, which can take a lot of time.

  16. Global filtering, not just in custom episode settings

    Could you please add a setting to disable text RSS globally, filtering, just like in the per episode settings, so i don't have to set it for each episode?

  17. Option to inform and erase duplicated podcasts

    Sometimes a site changes its feed, or have two feeds URLs, and when you search for the name, you find 4, 5 different links from the same podcast, some of then no more in use.
    I think an option to inform duplicated podcasts could make it easier to future users to find the correct feed of the podcast they want.

    I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?

    https://gpodder.net/ is a website for podcast managment, It would be great if your application could integrate with the website, for easy management. This will also help with desktop applications
