  1. format show durations in a consistent manner

    Some feeds provide leading zero's, some always include hours and minutes and seconds, even when it's under an hour etc. These lengths should ideal be parsed and reformatted sprintf() stylee to give a consistent format.

  2. Better support for feedburner

    My feeds based on feedburner do not work.
    If I want to add the RSS Link on "http://spikedmath.com/" to my list, PA can not initialize the feed.

  5. allow user to set battery level at which automatic updates don't occur

    If battery is at a user-defined level, stop auto updates to save battery. Otherwise, user has to force stop

  6. Save and restore the scrollbar state of each podcast.

    I come back to a podcast where I'm already done with dozens of the latest episodes and wish to listen to an older episode and the app always starts me out at the top of the list.

  7. I'd like it better if the lock screen widget had the play/pause button on the opposite side of the widget from the large X button.

    So I don't have to be so deliberate when pausing a podcast and bit worry about accidentally closing it.

  8. Tweak to keep screen option

    It would be great if you could add an option to the new keep screen on feature for only when the phone is charging or has power applied. It would be good for use in a car while driving.

  9. Show Published/Unpublished Episodes

    If a podcast only publishes a limited number of episodes (say 30 or 50) there is no way to tell if one of the older episodes that I have downloaded is still being published or if it is no longer listed.

  10. select car layout player from the main PA menu

    I have several friends who use PA that were unaware of the Car Layout available from the player screen menu. How about adding a car layout player selection in the main PA menu?

  11. Manually downloaded episodes should be marked as unread

    If a read episode is manually downloaded then it doesn't get marked as unread so I have to do this as well. It would be easier if it did this automatically.

  12. allow update settings to be different for each subscription

    id like to set the update frequency and auto-download settings differently for each individual podcast
    some i listen to every day, some (like news) several times a day, some only here and there. id like to not have to 'mark read' all the time for podcasts i dont frequently listen to. it leads me to unsubscribe to some just to not have to sort it out all the time

  13. Fix: Video playback stops in background on Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini on Android 4.4.2

    I can't play video podcasts in background. When I leave the video window, podcast addict pauses playback. I tried uncheck Settings -> Video Player but it doesn't help. When I turn off the display, I can hear the podcast (Background Playback works) but when I open another app, open another window in Podcast Addict (settings) or press home button, playback stops.

    The app behaves little bit different depending if the checkbox is checked. If it is checked and I reenter video player, I have to press play to continue playback. If the checkbox isn't checked, playback automatically continues when I…

  14. Revert back to player controls at audio podcast launch

    Revert back to large icon player controls at audio podcast launch

    The latest updated shows small banner at bottom of podcast with pause control only. Previous version had large icon player controls upon launching the podcast which was simple and convenient while driving.

    New UI requires an additional tap of small bottom podcast banner to access large icon player controls.

  15. Add a button that will assemble all of the currently unread episodes semi-randomly in a playlist that resembles a broadcast schedule

    Options would include episodes always appearing in order (per show), attempting to have an episode end at given intervols (having a new episode starting near the start of every hour to aid in understanding the passage of time), having shows of similar episode length phase back and forth, attempt to mix genres when possible, Never have two episodes of the same show back to back, periodically inject time or weather announcements via google text to speach API between shows. And anything else that would help to prevent burnout on a podcast during many-hour listening sessions such as during work.

  18. Have a "driving mode" UI in portrait mode videos that fills the big black hole under a widescreen video podcast.

    I love the driving mode pause/FF/RW interface for audio, not just for in the car but also for ease of use when I'm busy doing things or have stuff in my hands. In portrait mode, can you fit that into the void between a video and the play position?
