  1. Move notification player control buttons to left

    I like the player controls on the notification bar on the lock screen. However, I find the buttons hard to reach when using the phone one handed while walking the dog, driving, exercising. It would be a lot easier if the buttons were on the left side and the podcast picture on the right.

    I'm sure there are people who use their phones one-handed with their right hand. Perhaps this can be configurable.

    Also, the buttons are a bit small and tightly packed, which makes it a bit hard to press the rewind button rather than play/pause.

  2. guys make the GUI usable on AndroidTV

    On Sony (AndroidTV) at some positions I can not see the focus and can not play a podcast.

  3. Add automatic cleanup option of 12 hours

    For daily news type podcasts, being able to delete them at 12 hours (0.5 days) makes sure listeners won't have to listen to yesterday's news.

  4. -/+ Buttons for Fast Forward/Backward

    I think it is a good idea to put -/+ (minus/plus) buttons for fast forward/backward in the player control setting section with one second stepping.

  5. Adjust priority based on last played episode from that feed

    I would like to see an option to avoid playing new episodes of the same podcast all in a row, even if there are no equal or higher rated podcasts available. The simplest version would be something like "don't play until X other podcasts have played". A more flexible version would be something like "When playing an episode, temporarily reduce the priority of remaining episodes from that feed by X, increase by Y when any other podcast is played until back at original priority" . Related would be "count Z hours as 1 played podcast"...so if I listen to Favorite…

  7. Downloaded Episodes swipe

    The widget to open the app into downloaded episodes menu is great. But in navigating the app a swipe from the right, up, or down to get to the dowloaded episodes menu from any screen (such as swipe from left to bring up sliding menu) would be very convenient. Obviously swipe from right would disable some existing features, but up or down may be viable options. I autodownload episodes and i want immediate access to them from anywhere at anytime as what im here to do is listen to content first and foremost. Thanks for the good work.

  10. Announce the name of the episode

    I would like to have a voice that announce the next episode, with the name and maybe the name of the podcast

    It may comes in handy also to have the chance to set a sound between episodes, since one finishes and then a new one starts over, for some podcast it is not so easy to understand the change of episode

  11. Better option to adjust for display size.

    4k displays make it difficult if not impossible to read some text on the screen. Even when the settings on the device, none in app, are set to the maximum.
    This would greatly help those with visual impairment and IMHO make the app easier to use for all users.

    It would be nice to see how much time was skipped (or rewinded) using the playback buttons.

  13. Show how many episodes you have downloaded for each podcast feed

    When you have the display mode set to list instead of grid you can see how many unplayed episodes and how many episodes their are in total for each podcast feed. I would love to see how many episodes you have downloaded for each feed as well.

    Some episodes have on the description a link to a PDF file of the transcript, would be great if the app allow to open that link

  16. Add an option to only automatically download podcasts of certain priority

    I have some podcast I like a lot and I listen to every episode asap, and others I pick and choose an old episode when I don't have anything else. It would be great to have an easy way to only download the former. I know I can have individual settings for each podcast but this would be way less tedious, since I'm already using the priorities to sort the list by this metric.

  19. ability to move an episode to the top of the playlist, without being in the playlist

    For example, when browsing a podcast and manually downloading an episode, to be able to send it to the top of the list, without leaving the podcast screen, or changing the playlist sort settings.
