  2. Enable users to add a whole podcast, not just episodes, to a favourites category?

    Each episode of a podcast has to be added to favourites, a favourite Podcast provider category would be useful

  3. Add an option to specific podcast settings to skip that podcast when calculating the icon badge number on the desktop

    My scenario that I can't achieve right now is:

    • Add an audiobook with 150 files as a virtual podcast
    • Assign a specific category to this virtual podcast to make it appear in a custom playlist with a filename sorting
    • Edit custom settings of this virtual podcast as to not add it's files to the main playlist
    • Mark all files inside the podcast as played so it's huge number isn't reflected in nova launcher icon badge

    Now because the files are marked as played, I can select the custom playlist for this podcast.

  4. enable override for adding to playlist top automatically.

    I sort by manual or sometimes published date old to new. But I subscribe to one news podcast that I want to listen to as soon as it's available.

    I'd love the option to have it auto add to the playlist at the top position, so it's always next when downloaded.

  5. Show current play time plus a back jump button in bookmarks view

    When you are in the bookmarks view and wish to add a bookmark while playing an episode, the elapsed time isn't shown, which means that if you want to add a bookmark and make sure that the position (time) is correct, you need to jump back from the bookmarks view into player view to jump back a few seconds and then read the elapsed time, memorize it, and then back to bookmarks view to add a bookmark.     Split the storage area into video and audio podcasts. So one can move the audio ones to an mp3 player.

  7. Make it possible to completely forego artwork and/or comments

    I don't have any use for either and so it would be great if I could save space by not downloading them in the first place.

  8. Display # of downloaded episodes on home screen

    On the home screen, in the little yellow triangle (top right of each podcast square), allow showing the # of DOWNLOADED episodes instead of (or in addition to) the number of available episodes.

  9. Possibility of changing the title of the episode(as it is the case for the podcast title).

    Hello,
    Some radio stations do not enter text in the EPISODE TITLE BOX or enter inapropriate text.
    Therefore,can you upgrade the app. by allowing the user to edit the TITLE OF THE EPISODE?

  10. Improve car mode landscape layout

    In car mode landscape layout the playback controls occupy less than 50% of the screen. Suggest having them occupy 75% instead, with just a thumbnail type display of the podcast cover in the top left. Progress bar also occupies only about 40% width and this could instead perhaps extend 100% across the bottom. Great app though :)

    some podcasts start VERY VERY LOUD.

    I d like to see a fade in volume feature.

    increase volume from 0 % to 80 % within 5 seconds after podcast starts.

  19. Add scroll position indicator to playlist while dragging an episode

    When I simply scroll the playlist I can see by the indicator on the right the relative position of what's visible. I do this to locate where I wish to insert a new episode. However, when I drag the episode say from the bottom there is no indicator on the right making it difficult to estimate where I am in the playlist as it auto scrolls.

    I'd like to have the scroll position indicator available during the auto scroll.

  20. Allow media browsing over bluetooth

    Hi, my car supports both Android Auto and AVRCP. Browsing AA works fine, but I can't see PA in my AVRCP application list. It looks Android advertises it to both AA and AVRCP over MediaBrowserService, but for some reason Podcast Addict doesn't appear. Is it possible to add support for this?

    It sounds like a lot of people filter MediaBrowserServiceCompat.onGetRoot which would likely break this from working. My phone is a Pixel 3 running Pie. Thanks!
