Episode artwork in player, podcast artwork in episode list
My idea is to have separate "episode artwork" options for the Episode list vs for the Player.
Currently: There is an "episode artwork" option in Settings > Display > Episodes. This can be overridden for an individual podcast in Custom Settings.
Because Display > Episodes otherwise contains options that apply to the episode list / description screens, I expected there to be another equivalent option in Display > Player. But there is not, the Display > Episodes option applies universally.

A working playlist of played favourite episodes within a p'cast.
Have a list of favourite (therefore, played) episodes within my favourite podcast. If I use a custom playlist to display just those from this pcast that I've marked as favourite, it plays the first... and then stops. Press play, it replays the first again.
I want to be able to play them all, one after another, without having to mark them as unplayed.1 vote -
Integration with news aggregator and article text-to-speech
I have much more time to listen to content than to read content. My suggestion is to partner with news aggregators such as Feedly or newspaper apps to add written articles to the Podcast Addict playlist to be played as audio via text-to-speech.
The way I envision this working is that in the news aggregator app when I'm looking at the preview of an article, next to the button to open the article to read it in a browser there would be a button to "Send to Podcast Addict" and a text-to-speech version of the article would be added to…

Button at bottom of search results to search all podcasts
At the bottom or end of the search results when you search "All" (all of your subscribed podcasts) have a button or a swipe that will search in Podcasts for what you already typed. That way you don't have to basically search twice, widening your results the second time could be a little faster.
A "see more results" button essentially.

Grid set-up change
I love the app, but recently upgraded to a new phone which must have different dimensions, because the main screen looks different. I love the grid layout, but the small grid is 5 across, and the grid layout is 3, whereas 4 would be perfect. Would it be possible to have a choice of the number of titles across, instead of 3 "fixed" grid sizes?

Be able to archive podcasts that are finished
Being able to mark a podcast as "finished" or "archived" so that it doesn't show up in the main podcast list but isn't necessarily deleted from the overall collection. I want to keep some for recommendation or occasional re-listening but I want to keep my primary list uncluttered.

Add support for the Value 4 Value feature from podcastindex.org
There is a feature in the podcastindex.org which allow to send small payments to podcasts which support it. https://podcastindex.org/podcast/value4value

Please move the download button further from the scroll bar.
It is nearly impossible to consistently press the download/quick play button in list view. No matter how careful I am, it is difficult not to either press the episode box or the scroll bar. This has been an issue for years across multiple devices, and the fast scroll setting does nothing. Moving these buttons a few pixels to the left would help immensely.

Affichage mosaïque radios
Bonjour. Je suggère d'améliorer la lecture des icônes des radios affichés en mosaïque : retirer les boutons d'action lecture ou les rendre transparents afin de mieux voir les logos.
Fonctionnement suggéré : il n'y a pas de bouton Play visible. Je clique, je lance l'ecoute, apparaît alors le bouton pause sur la seule station en écoute.
Je clique sur Pause, l'écoute s'arrête et le bouton pause disparaît.
Le but est d'avoir une bien meilleure lecture des logos.

Add an option to remove the progress bar from the lock screen player notification.
When running or walking I often nudge forward or backwards the progress and it's difficult to find my place again.

Off-Device-Archiving: 'one-click-system'
Memory is extremely limited on phones; so good episodes must be stored/archived off-device. This should not be too complicated: while I'm listening, I should be able to 'mark episode for off-device archiving'. Maybe the episode could then be moved to one central 'outbox' folder; from where it would be easy to move the media files to the Computer.
As things are now, it's too fussy to remember and then find the episodes on the device that one wanted to move off-device for archiving.

Chromecast — Chapter images
It would be great if there was an option to customize the image shown on screen when streaming a podcast to Chromecast. Especially for podcasts that have chapter images (e.g. Stay Forever) it often would make more sense to show the chapter images instead of the podcast's title image.

Create a folder to sort and move tracks
I would like to create a folder to move and sort the downloaded files. Especialliy if you want to listen again to some tracks, maybe meditations it is easier to open a folder called "meditations" which includes all the meditation files.

allow podcast sorting by size (storage space used)
In the podcast list, it'd be helpful to be able to sort the list by total storage space currently used by downloaded episodes. The option to sort by downloaded episode count isn't really helpful....a podcast with short episodes that had dozens of downloaded episodes could be easily dwarfed by a single episode for a podcast that had 2+ hour episodes. Being able to sort the podcast list this way would allow better visualization of storage space used by various subscribed podcasts and the ability to manage that space in an educated manner.

Remove played / starred episode from playlist.
When I clear the playlist and afterwards enque downloaded episodes (to restore the default) my favourite (starred) podcast episodes get added to the playlist as well, since I've got "Keep favorite episodes" on.
So similarly to "Remove non downloaded episodes" I'd like to have a "Remove played episodes" or an "Remove favourite episodes" button in the playlist menu.

Scale podcast artwork with other aspect ratios
Currently artwork expects a square aspect ratio. Other aspect ratios, e.g. landscape, display the centre of the artwork (with a square aspect ratio).
It'd be great to have the artwork 'padded' with transparency to make it fit (aka zoomed out).
Alternatively a zoom/crop style feature as found on phone cameras would work, although the first option above would suit fine for me.

Move the date in News Episodes & Last Published Episodes tiles
In "New Episodes" and "Last Published Episodes" list, the date of publication is on the same line than the title of the episode. So this date often hides significant part of the title if it is too long.
Could it be possible to move the date on the same line than the duration of the episode, at the bottom of the episode tile ?
