    It would be very nice to be able to add Instagram pages to the podcast list since there are tons of accounts that share short videocasts on Instagram.

  2. improve category UX for podcast archiving workflow

    Archiving a podcast has been proposed before. I'd like to re-make the case for a good "archive" workflow, but I don't think we need a separate "archive" feature--just some improvements to managing categories.

    I already approximate "archiving" a podcast with categories (let's call these "status categories"). I use 3 status categories: trial, current, and archive.

    This works, but it's tedious to set up and maintain (manually turn off updates, either have to use the per-podcast category editor, or manage each category individually and successfully remember/pick podcasts).   6. Quickly update the 'auto download' settings of multiple podcasts.

    I set about 30 of my 70 podcast subscriptions to auto download, it is very boring during set up to have to individually set the download settings for each one. There should be a way to select multiple podcasts and set them to auto-download (while leaving the rest of them as do not auto download).

    This is mostly just a problem during initial set up but it took a long time, whereas other podcast players make this very easy.

  7. Add a Shuffle or Random button for Android Auto

    Either a baked in button or one of the 5 that we're able to choose in the Android Auto menu. I'd like to be able to shuffle within a Podcast.

  8. Add to "Add Playlist & Download"

    I see many suggestions but all I want is the above added to the menu. Realise that it can be changed in the settings that Downsloads can be added to Playlist Automatically but sometimes I don't always to add the Download to a Playlist.

    Think adding to the menu is more intuitive

  9. Show time left to complete the download

    When I'm downloading a episode of a podcast, the time left to complete the download is not showed, this is very bad, cause I don't have how estimate how much time it will take.

  10. I suggest you enhance the "mark all as unplayed"

    There have been a few times that I want to reset my listening history on a podcast. While "mark all as unplayed" mostly works, I'm left with episodes marked with partial progress. Idk if it should be a default or a checkbox or a different function, but it would be nice to have a way to set all the partial episodes back to zero for easier autoplaying/queuing etc

  11. Low volume setting

    The minimum volume isn't low enough ( with some podcasts) for listening at night, it would be great to have the option to reduce the volume even more.

  14. Sort by saved criteria but stay in drag and drop mode

    I really like sorting my podcasts in the playlist by priority and then by publish date, but occasionally I want to do some custom drag and drop after that. It's too cumbersome to switch between the 2 modes at the moment because in order to switch to drag and drop you have to clear the current sort. Ideally I would like to always keep the playlist in custom sort but have a button to reapply my saved sort.

  15. Read show notes (after playing an episode) on my laptop using a chrome extention

    I mainly use podcast addict in the car. So I never read the notes added to a podcast.
    I would like to be able to read show notes (after playing an episode) on my laptop using a chrome extention or something.

    If there would be an API to get recently played episodes, the rest can be coded by me or someone else.

  16. Button to download & play last episode of a podcast

    When i listen everday to news, i have to update the episode list manually and then play the last episode. Would be great to have a button that would automatically do that

  17. Automatically mark podcasts as listened to for a period

    Im a news junkie. But whole listening to today's news, I lost it and had to medicate for anxiety. So I want to take a break without unsubscribeing. A way to automatically Mark a podcast listened to for x days would be very useful.

  18. Disable notification player layout options once limit (3 buttons max) reached

    Following suggestion https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/36501286-cannot-dismiss-player-notification-once-paused-on, I found out why there isn't the 'X' button on the notification: notification player layout is limited to 3 buttons max.
    So, I would suggest you to:
    - disable notification player layout options once 3 buttons have been selected;
    - force the 'X' button to be always visibile (e.g., to be the first button on the notification) if more than 3 buttons have been selected by user.

  19. sort playlist by number of unplayed episodes in podcast

    I prioritize listening to new updates to podcasts on which I'm already caught up; only when they're done do I switch back to binging on the backlogs of other podcasts. Therefore, an option to sort the playlist by number of unplayed episodes would help me.

    I've tried using the 'time remaining' sort but it's not clear whether this is 'time remaining per episode' or 'per podcast'.

    I use this app for hours a day and love it!

  20. Calendar based on Frequency

    Most podcast will be uploaded on the same day at the same frequency. It would be great to have a calendar feature, that gives you an idea of what episode to expect in the coming week. It obviously can't be perfect, but for those of us who have a large number of podcast we listen to, this would be a great feature!
