  2. More friendly backup and restore from cloud (I talk about not direct syncyng with servers)

    There is already exists an option to save backup to device, than share it to cloud.
    But
    If i want to restore my podcasts from cloud (for sync purposes) i have to go to cloud (google drive for example) than download backup, than find it from addict app than apply it
    It is suggestion to have an opportunity save your and restore youur backup in single instance directly to google drive. It is already done in some android apps. Andromoney for example
    It is more simple option to release than to invent full-syncyng mechanism with servers

  3. Consider adding a warning about App Data deleting OPML and full database backups

    Episode descriptions were not being displayed, so I decided to wipe app data and see if some corruption in the configuration database was causing it. I did OPML and full backup, the then wiped app cache and data. To my surprise, that action wiped the backup files in their directories as well (though it left the folders in place); now I'll need to recover my feed list by wracking my brain. Not a LOT of feeds, but some other user with hundreds could get quite upset.

  4. add more options to the player behavior

    As of right now, the podcsst player either lowers the volume or pauses when there is an external notification. What sbout adding a third option so the notifications can be heard without altering the current episode.

  5. Edit the podcast name

    When you go to change the name of the podcast, you have to write it completely. I think it would be better to have the option of edit the existing name, for example, delete just a word:
    Default name: "Podcast Industrial revolutionology"
    Desired name: "Industrial revolutionoligy"

    It would be much easier to edit the default name, than to write all the name. If you want to change several podcasts, it counts.

  6. add the ability to distinguish between 'read' and ' played'

    Inwould like to be able to download episodes that are marked as 'unplayed' but 'read', which means I can more easily see which feeds I have 'unread' and undownloaded episodes in.

  8. More themes, more themes, more themes.... This should be a standard with any app. Current colors in my opinion are too dark.

    This feature requires a major update of the app as it hasn’t been built with the possibility to switch between light and dark theme.
    This means that implementing a light theme will take some time and might break things with the current dark themes.

    I will try to publish a first version next week.

    This will not break the app, however, the colors and icons will not be the final choice and there might be issues with the text color / icon colors not being contrasted enough with the first few iterations.

  9. Fullscreen view (zoomable) of the podcast/episode image

    Some of my Podcasts come with special images per episode. Too Bad that they are so small in PA. I like to tap the image to make it go to fullscreen sie. Additional zooming would be nice.

  10. allow podcast downloads over mobile, but put in an option to limit it when roaming

    Similar to how Google photos app can be set to back up photos over cellular, unless the mobile is on a roaming network. My national data allowance is plenty for syncing podcasts, but I have experienced landing in a foreign country, turning in my mobile and discovering after passing immigration that I've spent $100s downloading podcasts.

    Please provide the option of Section repeat Loop (A-B), not the one present already for looping files, but another more specific that allow a continuous play and repeat of a segment of time in a file.

    Next version of the app will add a loop button displayed in the chapters / bookmarks list screen. That way you can toggle the loopmode for the current chapter / bookmark. In order to use this with bookmarks you need to create a bookmark A at the beginning position, and a bookmark B at the end position, then if you enable the loop mode for bookmark A it will keep playing between A and B over and over.  You can also press on the chapter / bbookmark name in the player screen to toggle the loop mode ON/OFF


    EDIT: Now available in Beta

  18. Update on App Opening

    Currently the update options are (1) every 24hrs, or custom time period; or (2) when the phone turns on.

    Why not just when I open the app?
    (In which case, the notification would not be necessary).

  20. add functionality to the volume and center keys on BB Priv

    I have a Blackberry Priv and I would like to know if it is possible for to add functionality to the volume keys and center key (located between the volume keys). On my last podcast manager, these the volume Up and Down keys would function as normal but when pressed and held down for a few seconds they would move to the next podcast in a playlist or to the previous podcast in a playlist (the volume Up key was Next and the volume Down key was Back). In addition, the center key would Pause the podcast when pressed if…
