  1. 4x4 Car Layout Widget

    I use Podcast Addict all the time in the car or at the gym. I don't need the giant art layout (default), I do need something that I can operate quicker and safer. Thank you

  2. Share Favorites with friends

    My friends often ask me for episode recommendations. I'd love to just send them my favorites list! It would be great to have a Share option under the Favorites menu that sends a text list of my favorites to other apps. Including links and thumbnails would be even better.

  3. Shuffle That Maintains Episode Order

    PA currently provides a shuffle function to play episodes from the playlist in random order. It would be nice to have an option to ensure that two episodes from a single podcast are shuffled "in order"

    Example - I add episodes 1 and 2 of podcast A and episodes 4 and 5 of podcast B to my playlist. When I shuffle the episodes with this option enabled, episode 1 of podcast A will always be shuffled to an earlier position than episode 2 of podcast A, and episode 4 of podcast B will always be shuffled to an earlier position…

  4. Make content playable using Amazon Echo

    Make content playable via the Echo. Tune in has a 10$ app that will do it, but I donated to you on a couple phones, and like it.

  5. Recently deleted

    I've had a few instances where I've accidentally deleted episodes and not known which ones. Is it possible to have a 'Recently deleted' section to redownload and add these to my playlist.

    Add a Bookmark Import so you can import a Bookmark file made on PC to the app, to be more easier to have bookmarks on your favorites podcast

  7. Only start automatically triggered downloads when the device is plugged in

    At the moment, the automatic downloads trigger regardless of the power state.

    It would be great to have an option to prevent downloads when the device is running on battery or when it is running on battery and below a certain percentage battery charge.

    Otherwise, this is a fantastic app which I enjoy using.

  8. Show downloaded podcasts first, then the feed in podcast listing

    I want to listen to the old downloaded podcasts first. I set sort "from old to new". But I also want to see the new podcast in the feed first, and with this order set I have to scroll to the bottom to do it.

    Please add an option show downloaded podcasts first with it's own order, then the podcasts in the feed with it's own order too.

  9. Pin favourite podcasts to top of the list

    I'd love to be able to pin my favourite podcasts to the top so that they won't get lost amongst the other updates.

  10. Sort by category name

    I'd like the option to sort the playlist by category name.

    I listen to primarily three types of podcasts: 1-news/politics, 2-games, 3-other. I would like to be able to sort by category name, then date, then priority. So I could then listen to all news/politics (ordered by date then priority) before listening to all games, then everything else.

  11. Swipe right to add episode to playlist from list of episodes, swipe left to mark as played

    I spend the most time in my subscriptions adding new episodes to the playlist. In a list of episodes from a sub, I long press and select "Add to Playlist" or "Mark Played" if I don't want to listen to it.

    If I could swipe left or right to achieve the same action. Perhaps make this available from the search section to add one-off episodes I might want.

  12. Change abbreviation 1m to 1 month (since this looks like 1 minute)

    I was confused by 1m because I thought it meant 1 minute. I think it would be better to clarify 1h 1d 1m with 1 hour 1 day 1 month or 1 hr 1 day 1 mon.

    I LOVE PODCAST ADDICT. Some people I think just get an iPhone for Podcasts / iTunes, not knowing they can get as good or better podcast player with Podcast Addict.

  13. Provide a way to prevent duplicate episodes

    I subscribe to several NPR podcasts (NPR News, NPR Tech, etc.). Sometimes an episode is included in one podcast, and the exact same episode is also included in another podcast. As a result, I oftentimes have two or three copies of the same episode, all from different NPR podcasts.

    Would be great if the app could check an episode's title against the downloaded episodes list, and not download the episode if the title matches one already in the list.

    I realize that matching on the title of the episode runs the risk that there might be two different episodes that…

  14. Keep podcast episodes on 'Read' and 'Favorite' lists after podcast is deleted.

    Deleting the podcast channel also removes read and favorited episodes from that podcast. It would be great if this wasn't so.

  15. Download before playing

    Even Sticher has this. There should be a download before play option. I never want to actually stream anything, just take 5 seconds and download the podcast first. Automatic download settings do not cover my use case and I want specific individual podcast episodes to be downloaded directly before playing

  16. Enable option to show time remaining in currently playing and partially played podcasts.

    It would be helpful to reevaluate exactly how much time is remaining in a podcast, maybe where it currently displays the total time of the episode, to the right of the progress bar. Also perhaps in the expanded notification area. Thanks.

  18. Sort Downloaded Episodes By Podcast

    Maybe I'm missing an option that exists already, but I can't seem to find a way to sort the downloaded episodes of 'all podcasts' by the podcasts themselves. Meaning I want to have all of my downloaded episodes of 'Radio Lab' together, then all my episodes of 'Comedy Bang Bang' together, and so on.

    In terms of then how you would sort which podcasts comes first, I guess you could just have it be done alphabetically. I honestly don't care how the podcasts are ordered, I just want the episodes to be next to each together.

    Beautify the personal listening statistics. Line graph, see how many hours you see everyday in a week , month, year and forever. Line graph that goes up and down everyday depend how many hour you listen to each day. Ability to see how many hour you listen to that week.Separate ability to see individual podcast listening time in a day,week,year, forever on a line graph each with a different color.

  20. Add casting support to Roku

    This is the best podcast app by far. My only gripe is that I routinely find myself longing to cast my podcasts from this app to my roku. If it becomes complicated to make it work for all Rokus then I'd suggest to focus efforts to make it compatible with the latest versions of the Roku 2 Roku 3, and the Roku streaming stick. I hope you can make it happen. Thank you.
