Allow variable volume boost
The volume boost is great but is only on or off. In on state some podcasts are distorting, but with boost off the podcast is too quiet. Would be great to have a variable boost.

Section repeat Loop (A-B)
Please provide the option of Section repeat Loop (A-B), not the one present already for looping files, but another more specific that allow a continuous play and repeat of a segment of time in a file.
28 votesNext version of the app will add a loop button displayed in the chapters / bookmarks list screen. That way you can toggle the loopmode for the current chapter / bookmark. In order to use this with bookmarks you need to create a bookmark A at the beginning position, and a bookmark B at the end position, then if you enable the loop mode for bookmark A it will keep playing between A and B over and over. You can also press on the chapter / bbookmark name in the player screen to toggle the loop mode ON/OFF

Sleep timer always reset by movement
Reseting the timer by shaking should always be possible and not only in the small time between vibrating and turning off.
E.g. Laying in the bed and noticing, that I am awake for at least another timer period. Then I just take the phone and shake.
Expected behavior: Timer is reset
Actual behavior: Timer just continuous and ignores my shaking.This request extends the feature request 10211379 in the way that movement should always reset and not only after the warning.

Automatically apply custom settings at category-level.
This is the main feature that is preventing me from ditching BeyondPod entirely for Podcast Addict...
Use Case: When I subscribe to a new podcast, I assign it to a category called 'Auditions'. In BeyondPod, this action automatically assigns the custom settings of 'Auditions' to the podcast (which dictates that only one episode is downloaded at a time).
If I like the podcast, I will remove it from the category 'Auditions' and place it in 'Favorites', where it automatically conforms to the custom settings of its new category (thereby downloading three episodes at a time).

Exclude listened to / hidden episodes from sorting
If you sort your podcasts in the main listing by, say, newest update first, and then open up the first podcast and mark the newest episode as listened to, that podcast stays at the top of the "newest" list.
I would like an option to have the main podcast list sorting ignore hidden/listened to episodes when sorting.

Drag and Drop Priority List
The current podcast priority settings are difficult to update. As I add more podcast subscriptions, the current priority buckets either become more crowded (making them less effective), or I have to create a new priority bucket and then manually update numbers on all of the other podcasts. This is time consuming and has sometimes prevented me from wanting to add more subscriptions.
Drag and drop for each episode would make this much easier to update. You could still drop multiple episodes into one priority bucket just like it is now. A single tap could still function the same (type in…

Download an unread episode at random
It would be convenient to have an option in the menu for any given podcast to download an unread episode at random.
Some podcasts I listen to have hundreds of episodes and I don't really care what order I listen to them in; this would help get rid of the mental anguish of picking one out.

Pause and resume by tapping two or three times on the phone.
I use the application when I'm hiking. My phone is in my pocket and it is not always easy for me to use to access the controls.
As I hike with other people, I have to unplug my headphones every time someone wants to talk to me because I do not have time to take my phone, turn on the screen and press break.
I know that there are readers who are used to pause by tapping two or three times on the phone.
It would be really great to build this functionality into podcastaddict.

Make a kodi addon
I use kodi a lot. I notice that other then the apple iTunes podcast addon (which is rubbish) thier is no podcast addon available for it.
I believe podcast addict would be amazing to have.

Bookmark Export for ALL Podcasts (one-click)
Powerusers might add lots of bookmarks every day. If one's subscribed to hundreds of podcasts, one might not always remember which podcasts have bookmarks that haven't been exported yet.
So for me, being able to export ALL bookmarks of ALL podcast with one click would be the prerequisite for me wanting to use bookmarks to begin with (otherwise, I'd continue to use Evernote for taking notes while listening to podcasts).27 votesNext version will add the existing Bookmark export feature to the Bookmarks screen option menu

Add option to sort playlist by podcast specific sort options
My apologies if this is something that can already be done in the app, but if that is the case I can't for the life of me figure it out.
I have some podcasts that I want to listen to newest to oldest, and some that I would like to listen to oldest to newest. I know that I can enable custom sorting on the podcast page, but this sorting option doesn't seem to tie back to the playlist page in any way.

download frequency
allow different download frequencies for individual podcasts, e.g. download just the latest episode once a day/2days/week etc. For some podcast only the latest episode is relevant (e.g. news) whereas others all episodes are relevant.

Swipe between podcasts
I would like to be able to swipe between podcasts. What I mean is when I expand a podcast, I'd love to be able to swipe from podcast to podcast, much like you do in a newsfeed from article to article. When I'm populating my playlist, it can be cumbersome to have to back out of the podcast and select the next.
This would be helpful, especially with some of the podcasts that I like to be selective about which episodes I listen to instead of automatically downloading them - or when I have older episodes downloaded, but want to…

Back button from Player opens Podcasts instead of closing app
Right now, the back button (on Android) from the Player closes the app. Would like for it to open the Podcasts/Home instead!
26 votesThe back button always returns to the previous scren until you reach the app opening screen. From there pressing on the back button will close the UI. If you open the app from the widget/notification then the opening scren is the player screen, so pressing back from that screen will exit the UI

Dim the episode cover (including or not the entire episode card) when that episode is marked as played. I mean, apart from the green tick, of course.
