Add a sleep timer so the podcast stops playing after a certain amount of time
Just like audible, a sleep timer that will stop playing after a set amount of time. Useful for longer podcasts. Looking at you Dan Carlin

Continuous playback on a per podcast basis.
I like to fall asleep listening to a particular podcast(Sleep With Me), so at night I turn on continuous playback hit play on the latest unplayed episode and set the sleep timer. This works great, but in the morning I have to then turn off continuous playback for my walk to work because I'm not necessarily going to listen to my most recent podcasts in order.
Would it be possible to extend the custom settings for playlists in a podcast to include continuous playback?
4 votesWhy do you need to turn off Continuous playback? You can start playback from your playlist screen if you rather want to use the playlist during the day.

in the android auto interface, provide both next/previous track AND skip forward/backward in the current track.
Player FM has this ability. I was all set to switch to buy Podcast Addict until I found out about the lack of controls in Android Auto.

considérer comme lu après x% lu
La plupart du temps les podcasts contiennent des générique de fin que l'on a tendance à zapper. il serait donc utile de pouvoir paramétrer cette fonction consistant à considérer un épisode comme étant lu après en avoir lu un certain pourcentage ou alors en ayant passé la limite de X secondes avant la fin.
Cela pourrait éviter un ménage assez fastidieux qui consiste a marquer manuellement comme lu des épisodes quasiment lu entièrement.
Et bravo au développeur pour cette super application.4 votesIl est possible d’utiliser le paramètre ‘Skip outro’ pour cela. Tu peux définir combien de secondes seront automatiquement coupées à la fin du podcast. Pour y accéder, laisse appuyé sur le podcast, sélectionne Paramètres personnalisés, puis surcharge les paramètres du lecteur. N’hésites pas à m’envoyer un email si tu as la moindre question.

This would be better for support of more radio stations, such as 92.3 KTAR Phoenix, or 100.3 WNIC Detroit.

Move app to SDcard
I'd like to suggest that the Podcast addict App could also be moved to the SDcard. I have always troubles with my internal storage, which is too full. But I have lots of space on my SD card, which is formated as internal storage. Podcast addict has gotten very big (more than five gb) over time, so it would be great if the app would support this feature.
4 votesSorry but the app cannot be moved on the SD card. This would break most of its feature because of Android restrictions. The app itself doesn’t use much space. Downloaded files can be moved on the SD card to free some space (Settings/Download/Storage space)

Hide bluetooth metadata AVRCP
Is it possible to just hide the metadata on the car screen? I noticed my car is displaying the podcast title and it's readable outside my car.

Attach user-definable and combinable tags to podcasts
I keep a huge library of podcasts on a lot of topics.
More and more I begin to find it difficult to find related podcasts from different sources.For documents I use the extremely helpful CamScanner-App, which uses user definable and combinable tags, which it adds to a document. So, if I search for a document I only need to check the most likely tags to get the docs grouped according to my own criteria.
I do not think of a kind of playlist, as a playlist combines podcasts together in one list with one idea of its purpose.
A…4 votesYou can edit the podcast categories and add as many categories / keywords as you want to for each podcast. Then on the app main screen you can select the category you want to see. Same on the playlist custom tab, you can select the category you want to listen to.

Bug - 1 custom playlists reordering doesn't work
Item won't stay in new position and others jump around.

Can you please try clearing the playlist and readding items to it using the playlist menu ‘Enqueue downloaded episodes’. It should fix the issue in case of a corrupted playlist. Please tell me if this happens again.Xavier

add ability to filter by downloaded episodes per subscription
in the podcast subscription view, I would like to filter out all non-downloaded episodes, so I can just focus on the episodes available to me immediately on my phone storage.
3 votesWhat you should do is enable automatic playlist (Settings/Playlist). That way downloaded episodes are automatically added to the playlist. Then you just need to open the playlist to have access to every content available on your device.

Automatic delete holds playlist progress
I have a problem (Samsung Galaxy S4), if automatic delete option is enabled, and I'm listening to several items. When the screen is off, and the podcast comes to an end, and should delete it and move on to the next in the playlist - it just sits there. The moment I unlock the phone, file is deleted (I see the notification) and the next item starts normally. If I remember correctly, it worked fine in some of the earlier versions.

Decrease internal storage!
Decrease amount of storage needed for internal memory. Allow user to offload some of this access (without deleting their list of favourite podcasts).
Perhaps the option of moving this app to SD card would resolve this issue.
3 votesThere’s no way to decrease the internal memory used by the app. The app cannot be moved to the SD card because of Android restrictions (services will not work, widgets will not work, …).
FYI moving the app to the SD card would only save like 2MB… -

Variable speed playback broken with some podcasts
A recent update broke variable speed playback on a few of my podcasts (cheapass gamer's cagcast being one). If I change the playback speed at all, even 1.1x, it sounds like they are talking in slow motion. Not all my podcasts have this issue, and the ones that are broken had worked fine before that update.

Nothing was broke on variable playback speed. It just doesn’t support M4A files very well and because of some hardware/drivers bugs, some devices aren’t compatible (Samsung S4 for exemple).
Did you install the app on a different device or update you Android/Rom version ? -
Sync across multiple android devices
Like pocket casts, maybe an option to sync feeds across multiple android device, eg. Smartphone and tablet.
