Cross device synchronization
Would be great to be able to synchronize subscriptions, playlist, read status, ... between devices
The next couple of versions will focus in getting reed of any existing issue, then I will resume working on this feature.
I may have found a solution to handle the charge necessary and which might not cost too much.
Once a first beta with basic subscription syncing is available I will study the impact on the servers (and the cost), then I will add more syncing step by step, in order to sync the read status, favorite flag, playback progress, …
Hopefully I’ll be able to add this feature in the free version
I finally made the leap to Pocket Casts after 6 years with PA. I'll miss a lot features of PA, but device sync was starting to outweigh all of those benefits.
I will probably move on if this doesn't get resolved soon. Too bad since pa is awesome but no sync is just a deal breaker in this day and age.

"This feature will be added in 2014. But it requires a lot of work server side and also to find a solution that won't cost to much... So it will take a few month to implement it"
Why not sync the data to Google Drive on Android, and whatever cloud service is naturally available in iOS? This should have zero cost to you, since it uses bandwidth and space from the user.
Feature still a no show. Finally, it's a deal breaker.
I really, really, REALLY don't want to leave PA and find another podcast app and have been putting it off hoping you would offer a solution.
You have a really good app that has won out over all others I've tried but the ability to sync between devices is a big enough issue that I'm afraid the time to move on is coming soon. I'm patient but not 2 years patient.
Any update on this please?
Does wnyone know if this is being worked on? It would be very nice if they could give some kind of answer.
Do we have any knews about it?

Wow. I'm actually happy this hasn't been added in the past 5 years. Was really pulling my hair trying to figure out which podcast app to go with. No device sync is a huge deal breaker for me. Addict not even considering it for 5 years....think I'll go with one of the many other apps. Liking pocket casts so far.
Thanks for not doing anything, PA!

This is going to be a requirement soon, and I fear you're running out of time. I'm already looking for a way to seemlessly listen to podcasts between devices - Phone, Tablet, Alexa, PC. You've made a great app for Android, but it's 2018, and you really risk missing your window of opportunity here. I will switch apps over this ability, and I'm certain many others feel the same.

I'd love it if across device sync came available. Too be honest, it's a bit of a deal breaker of not. I now find myself looking for good alternatives that support that function. Hope to see it soon on podcast addict.

It would be awesome if we could sync our devices.

Agree with the rest: This is a must have feature. One which I would pay for. Great App. It has changed my life for the better!

Maybe make it to where we can create an account and log in from multiple devices and have the app synced between multiple devices through a log in account.

Hey there, your announcement of the beta is now 3.5 years ago.
Did I missed this functionality?

My Nexus 5X just crashed (boot loop ...) and I don't have a recent backup of my subscription ... Is this idea always open ? If at least we had an automatic backup on Google Drive (like WhatsApp does) it would save me ...
