Cross device synchronization
Would be great to be able to synchronize subscriptions, playlist, read status, ... between devices

Just a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in
Thanks

I agree, this would be a great feature. I would pay for the option to use it.

So I have to say that this idea is second on the list of top ideas, it has nearly 5,000 votes, and there have been comments constantly on it since the start of it until current day. However, I find it funny that the developer is spending so much focus on things with Android Auto (which as a note was suggested in April 2015 and completed 7 months later) but yet this idea has been requested since June 2013 and it says it is started, but 6 years later and we are still waiting. C'mon developer, please give us an update on where you are with this feature. I am sure I speak for us all when I say that it feels like you have forgotten about us and this request or that you just don't care about it.

It will be great if this feature appears in app!

Yeah, please give us an update on this! The most popular feature request is about a desktop application with synchronization (https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/6531942-having-a-computer-based-version-of-podcast-addict) and there are some services (like gpodder: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/4351924-add-support-for-https-gpodder-net) that can deliver this feature. So I think there can be some sort of discussion about the best way to achieve synchronization.

So any update at all for sync across devices?

Wow! The started comment is almost 4 years old. Can we get a status on this "Started" suggestion? I have 3 devices that I listen and watch podcasts on. I left PA for Pocketcast because PA didn't have this feature. I always liked the GUI on PA better than Pocketcast. Now with the release of the, even more, dorked-up Pocketcast v7, I'm back, but still would like the ability to sync across devices.

Jumping from pocketcasts back to PA. need sync please.

Jumping ship from Pocket Casts due to the V7 issues but I need sync. Plenty of people here asking for it. I will totally pay for this, take my money!

Would pay subscription for this functionality. Abandoned the app solely as a result of its absence.

I would really like this feature to maintain my place in my playlist across both my phone and my in-dash Android head unit.

I was able to migrate all my data using these steps: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/292734-how-to-switch-between-devices-or-flash-rom-without
you have to search a little for the actual file, but by saving it to Google Drives and downloading it on the new phone, it totally worked!

Just commenting, I've switched to Pocket Casts due to this. But I'm not totally happy, if you implement it, I'm coming back and donating.

Xavier ...please please please can you give your devotees a response some time soon to let us know if and when this feature is likely to be become a reality?
Awesome app but lacking this one very critical feature -

PLEASE add this; please! The copying of backup files is a PIA to do it manually and frankly is not worth the time by the time one has to find a file manager that will do it on each device; then add a podcast to one device and here we go again...
