The next couple of versions will focus in getting reed of any existing issue, then I will resume working on this feature.
I may have found a solution to handle the charge necessary and which might not cost too much.
Once a first beta with basic subscription syncing is available I will study the impact on the servers (and the cost), then I will add more syncing step by step, in order to sync the read status, favorite flag, playback progress, …
Hopefully I’ll be able to add this feature in the free version
I really would like to see this feature, but it's really broad now. Does this include LAN sync or cloud sync? Subscription or downloaded episodes as well? Does it sync progress?
My suggestion is to split up this feature request to see what users really want.
Yeah, please give us an update on this! The most popular feature request is about a desktop application with synchronization (https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/6531942-having-a-computer-based-version-of-podcast-addict) and there are some services (like gpodder: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/4351924-add-support-for-https-gpodder-net) that can deliver this feature. So I think there can be some sort of discussion about the best way to achieve synchronization.
I think this request should be merged with https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/12276636-player-web-on-a-dedicated-website. Currently, there is no webapp that can be added to the Chrome Store.
There are some request to have a sync between devices or with Gpodder/Feedly.
I think this request should be closed because it is unclear or duplicate.
Does this really solve a problem? Don't think downloading files isn't a very energy consuming activity.
The next version will allow to reorder downloads and to pause/resume them.
A first beta will be soon available
Concurrent downloads will be added in a future release
Since v3.27 the download manager as been improved and now displays an ‘error’ tab that will allow you to see a list of the past download failures, allowing you to retry the downloads without having to remember the episodes that failed to download in the first place
This feature is implemented, isn't it?
Does this request differ from https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/6531942-having-a-computer-based-version-of-podcast-addict ?
I think this feature request should be closed in favour of this one: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/6531942-having-a-computer-based-version-of-podcast-addict
I think this suggestion should be deleted as this is a double post.
