Played items dimmed
So far, I love this. I have one problem, however: a green check mark appears on the thumbnail of a played podcast. This is the only way something is marked as "played," and it doesn't help me. I can't tell at a glance which things are unplayed. If anything, the green check mark only makes the podcasts I've already listened to more visible. They should be less visible. There's just not enough of a distinction between the appearance of a played vs. unplayed item.

Add a 'hide played episodes' per podcast override.
..similar to the implemented custom sorting per podcast, hiding played episodes would be nice. A switch within the 'hide played' function to 'show favorite episodes only' would be amazing.

Save playlists
I would like to make save able custom sorted playlists. I have podcasts that I like to go back and relisen to but in customisable mixed orders. Example: HISTORY PODCASTS. i subscribe to several history podcasts and would like to mix them together but order them by time of the events being discussed in the podcasts rather than by the release date. What I would like to do is make a playlist much like you do with music and then I can just save it and refer to it whenever rather than having to re-add them to the audio playlist…

Need manual with TOC. FAQ is chaos and not written as explanation
This app is very functional with lots of settings, tool bars, screens, etc. Frequently it can be difficult to locate where to do something. Other times it is not obvious what function is available or what an icon does. For example Bookmark seems obvious but I'm struggling with how to use it. Improve sleep timer
Monitor shakes and reset the sleep timer when a shake is detected. So the sleep timer activate X minutes after the last shake. And you can shake again as usual.
This can be used all the time. When you move about and carry the phone it will keep playing.

maximum age setting for new episode badge counter
Proposal: a global setting for the maximum amount of time to include unlistened episodes to the counted for badge display. This way you can have badges reporting, for example, number of unlistened episodes for a podcast within the last month.
An override in the podcast custom setting would also be good, for adjusting some podcasts that publish very frequently, or infrequently.
The unplayed counter badge is not really useful if you have a lot of podcasts subscribed and only listen to some occasionally. The problem is that you end up with a lot of unplayed podcasts from an increasingly distant…

Revise Player view to work better in split screen
Player view doesn't work well in split screen
Could the resizing (in the car mode Player) be adapted to make the controls more accessible, even when resized for split screens.
In landscape (split screen with phone in portrait - as it is in most car mounts), the album art is so large that the once-giant buttons are very difficult to see and access.
In portrait (split screen with phone in landscape - which is much less common), the controls are much better, but the album art is tiny.

add crossfade
Some of my audiobooks are just a bunch of 3-minute mp3 files named in order. It'd be great to have a crossfade option to make this file-to-file transition seamless. Preferably an option to choose how much time to crossfade. Poweramp has this feature so I actually use that music player when listening to broken-up files but I don't like having to use my music player for word stuff (psychological cross-contamination).
I also bought the podcast addict pro version so I hope you can add this feature in. Thanks!

Give option to update episodes every 6 hours
I listen to several news podcasts that update every hour and 4 new episodes a day would be just right for me. Plus based on my schedule for when I can listen 6 hour updates would be perfect. It's too bad we can't choose the update interval for what best fits our schedule.

Be able to access the episode list from a new podcast without having to go back to "podcasts"
If I play a recent podcast, then I want to listen to past eps, I can just get right to those episodes, I have to go back to "podcasts", find the one. Then go into it. Just have a quick link to back episodes from anywhere I may be.

Allow speed controls to be always visible
Please create a setting for users to always have the + and - speed controls on the screen. Having to open the speed control window is cumbersome, plus it blocks videos that I may be playing. I often like to adjust speed up and down while listening to a podcast. This helps me blow past topics that I don't t care about and slow down for subjects during a podcast that I want to pay more attention to. In other words, for me, I LOVE your plus and minus speed throttling buttons. I just want them to always visible next…

I would love to have a list or something to that effect so I can add podcasts that I want to check out later. I see so many recommendations for podcasts that I wanna check out and it would be nice to have a list or bookmark or something to save them all in.

Group podcasts by category
I mainly use the grid layout for my podcasts and spontaneously decide what to listen to. I never use the dropdown menu because I lose the overview over all podcasts. But the grid layout becomes an unsorted mess when you have 20+ podcasts.
It would be great if you could group the grid by categories.

Textual filter amongst our subscribed podcast (home view)
In the view "Podcasts" implements a textual filter in order to get to the serached podcast. I have almost 100 subscribed podcast and it's a bit difficult to look for one juste by scrolling or sort by category. I'd like to sort it by a word in its title.

Add download scheduler
Hi
I wrote to you some time ago about Scheduler but apparently it has slipped your eyes...
I actually use a plan for my internet service that provides me with free data from 3am to 7am.
I have to set my alarm to get up and start or pause the downloads. Honestly a big pain in the neck...Could you be kind enough to provide a start/pause scheduler for the download manager? Any day that I oversleep I actually lose quite a bit of my data which is quite expensive.
