Button that toggles Playback speed from normal to custom setting, and back again
I enjoy and appreciate PA's ability to set the playback speed. Some podcasts I listen to are poorly recorded and suffer greatly from increased speed, even a minor adjustment of 1.1X or 1.2X
It would be nice if there was a button on the front of the UI of the app that lets you toggle from Normal playback speed to the custom setting, and back again.

Disable screen rotation setting
Allow me to disable screen rotation in app. When I move around like run or jog while listening to a podcast or lay down, podcast addict constantly rotates. Extremely frustrating and my only annoyance with this great app for years. Thanks

Set a priority level only above which you get new episode notifications.
I only want to have new episode notifications for a select few of the many podcasts I have added. At the moment, it looks like I'd have to specifically disable "Keep updated" on each of the many podcasts I don't want them for, which would take forever and isn't quite what I want anyway.
I'd like to instead be able to set it to, for example, only give new episode notifications for podcasts with a priority of greater than 10.

Custom settings per category
It has been requested a lot. Please add the option to change the custom settings either by selecting multiple feeds at once or by category. It's a pain to change the settings manually for 25 podcasts.
Also, more of a question, is there a way to reverse the "mark all played" action? I searched but didn't find a way to do it.

Allow tagging/categorization of episodes
For example, allowing episodes to be tagged for future download, separating "deleted unlistened to" from "got halfway through and wasn't into it," or creating collections like "episodes Jeremy should listen to" and "episodes to listen to when I'm losing faith in the world"

Move to the currently playing episode's place in the episode list
When I'm listening to one podcast episode by episode, I often use the menu to go to the episode list. It would be nice if the display would move to the currently playing episode's place in the list instead of the beginning of the list.

Shortcuts to playlist
I would like a Shortcut to the playlist like the one you have to Radio Stations.
I think the playlist is kind of difficult to reach on car mode.
To me, playlist is the most important screen in the app, I'd like to be able to reach it with a single gesture (like a swipe from the right) instead of two.

Settings presets instead of overriding settings for each podcast individually
I have two main types of podcasts I am listening too.
- Story based podcasts This type of Podcast tells a story over multiple episodes. The content often isn't related to the current events but can be listened years after publication. The episodes build on one another. An example would be 'Serial'. The listening order should be the order of publication. For this kind I override the settings like this:
Automatic download: yes
Archive mode: yes
Download older first: yes
Automatic playlist: yes
Delete: noI sort the podcast by date, old->new

Allow editing of saved podcast searches so i can correct spelling, etc, before the search is completed
I was searching for a poscast and misspelled a name in my search. I hoped that if i typed the first few characters of the earlier search and it came up, I'd be able to select it and modify it in the search field. Instead, the exact same search is instantly redone, with the same outcome.

(player) Allow increasing button size by disabling art
When the player is in split-screen, even in car layout, the buttons are sometimes hard to press. It would be useful to have the option of increasing the size of the control buttons by disabling the episode art in the player.

Improve car mode landscape layout
In car mode landscape layout the playback controls occupy less than 50% of the screen. Suggest having them occupy 75% instead, with just a thumbnail type display of the podcast cover in the top left. Progress bar also occupies only about 40% width and this could instead perhaps extend 100% across the bottom. Great app though :)

On downlist now you can see full list or non played. Would like to see option to show downloaded and alrady played list.

Add additional customize-ability to alternate podcasts
I have a mishmash of short and long podcasts and have the "alternate podcasts" setting enabled in the playlist enabled. The short podcast is issued more often and I end up with a ratio of about 10:1 short to long. I'd like to be able to select how many of each podcast count in the alternation of a podcast. For example if I have podcasts A and B. A is distributed often and is short. B is long but distributed once a week. What ends up happening is I get the following playlist:

Possibility of changing the title of the episode(as it is the case for the podcast title).
Hello,
Some radio stations do not enter text in the EPISODE TITLE BOX or enter inapropriate text.
Therefore,can you upgrade the app. by allowing the user to edit the TITLE OF THE EPISODE?

Add speed option to widget configuration
it would be nice to be able to flip through a few user-configured speeds (number of speeds and the speeds should both be user-configurable) via the widget.
For example, I could set two "favorite" speeds, "1.0x" and "2.7x" and by touching the speed button would toggle between them. If I defined three favorite speeds, such as "1.0x", "2.0x", and "2.7x" then each press of the speed button would rotate to the next speed in the list and wrap around to the beginning of the list when the last speed was selected.

Add + and - Speed Controls to the Player so that we don't have to open the speed adjustment fly out window to adjust the speed
I love the Plus and Minus buttons in the Speed Adjustment fly out, and I use them dozens of times a day. Here are some problems with the fly out window:
1) When I'm watching a video podcast it covers up the video content.
2) It's an extra, unnecessary step to first open the speed adjustment window to then adjust the speed. This is fine for people who set it and forget it, but it would be great to have a less cumbersome option for users like me that adjust the speed and up and down all day long.Many…

Allow me to change where full backups are saved
I like to make a full backup when ever there is a new version out. In case something goes wrong I don't want to lose my subscriptions and the progress in them. I put my full backup in a separate folder on my tablet, should I ever have to uninstall and reinstall the program. There is a huge amount of steps involved in doing this manually. It would be a lot easier if you would just allow me to change the folder I want my full backup save in.

Group episodes by podcasts
In the Downloaded section episodes can be sorted using various criteria but on doing that the episodes from the same podcasts get scattered. Therefore, there must be an option to group episodes by podcasts after applying the sorting.
