Time of unread episodes
When opening a Podcast add a statistic of the playtime of all unread Episodes combined.

Make 'Hide Read Episodes' option operate only on selected podcast and not globally.
There are some podcasts that I want to delete to save space and clean up the download display, but want to keep visible in the main podcast section in case I want to download and listen to them again at some future time.
Others I would like to hide read episodes.
Would it be possible to make the 'Hide Read Episodes' option operate only on the selected podcast channel and not globally so we have this option?

Port Podcast Addict to a Windows Universal App
I have the Android version of Podcast Addict and I love it! Please port it to Windows as a Universal App so I can run it on all my Windows 10 PCs / Tablets / Phones / Surfaces / Xboxes / IoTs / SurfaceHubs / HoloLenses / Servers (ok, not servers...maybe?). If you need help, there are probably lots of resources to help you. Thank you!

Should be able to perfom operations on all podcasts grouped under a category
Should also be able to group podcast's by category and perform operations on all podcasts in the category from the category directly e.g. reset podcast, update podcasts, download unread, etc.

Add the Podcast Filter to the Playlist screen.
Add the Podcast Filter to the Playlist screen. This would help if you have lots of episodes in your playlist and want to listen to episodes from just one podcast.

mark a episode as read if you start playing something els in the last five minutes of the podcast
Hi it would be good if an episode will be marked as read if you stop the episode within the last five minutes or start listening to something els. I don't care about something to removes outros because I don't want that. I want the app to understand that I am done with an episode if I start listening to something els or stooping the episode within the last five minutes. Long pressing to mark it as read doesn't solve this problem eather!

Continous Controls at the bottom of the Interface
Mini Control panel should stick to the bottom of Interface on each and every screen. Must include play/pause, forward, rewind and speed control.

Shuffle That Maintains Episode Order
PA currently provides a shuffle function to play episodes from the playlist in random order. It would be nice to have an option to ensure that two episodes from a single podcast are shuffled "in order"
Example - I add episodes 1 and 2 of podcast A and episodes 4 and 5 of podcast B to my playlist. When I shuffle the episodes with this option enabled, episode 1 of podcast A will always be shuffled to an earlier position than episode 2 of podcast A, and episode 4 of podcast B will always be shuffled to an earlier position…

I accidentally tapped Trash (delete) button. Please give us undelete option for accidents like this
I propose something like Gmail: Do delete the podcast immediately when we tap the Trash icon. But, like Gmail, add an "Undo" button for accidents.

Global variable speed option
I would absolutely love it if there was an option to have the variable speed currently set in the player have effect globally, rather than just on a per podcast basis. In this case, the current and subsequent episodes would all be played at whatever the current player speed setting was, ignoring whatever speed each podcast was last played at

39 votesFYI there’s a setting in Settings/Player called Playback “speed factor” which allows to select how much of the current playback speed is applied when you listen through a loud speaker. For example, I set this at 33%.
This means that the podcast set to 2.5x is played at 2.5x only when listening with a headset (wired or BT). Otherwise the app will play at 1.5×. Once you enable this, you won’t have to change the playback speed based on the environment. The app will do it for you -
Random zapping
Some podcast are some years old and have a lot of "hidden" content.
Usually it is used "latest episodes" or "downloaded episodes" to choose what to listen and what to not.
To navigate through an old podcast to discover good episode you want in that moment is quite slow.
I suggest another lay out where random old podcast episodes are shown, it could be activated with a command similar to refresh. We could even choose things like: how many podcast do we want to be episodes taken from each time. If we want just unwatched episodes. If we want some…

I'd like to publish my favorites to a blog so if it can be exported, that would be great. Could you include the fields: podcast name, episode name, episode description, episode URL and enclosure link please. Thanks.

True BLACK/Monochromatic theme
I found the black theme, but I would love for this to apply true black throughout the app.
I see a lot of deep gray and that against black accents appears almost like a deteriorated screen color or dirty black.

Option: play one episode only or play the playlist
It would be great to have an optional choice between:
- playing one episode only (and then the playback stops),
- playing one episode (and then repeating the same episode),
- playing one episode (and then continuing the playlist),
- playing one episode (and then other episodes of the same podcast follow).
I know some of that is possible already but it's not always easily accessible (the settings are spread across a couple of menus).
I would suggest adding additional options in the player menu (e.g. the same place where you can already set the repeating of one episode) and/or adding the additional option…

Show the duration of the skip duration above the skip buttons
As I didn't know the duration of the skip buttons until I came here...
Please put a small number that is the skip duration (set in the settings) close to the skip buttons.
